Preparing

The first thing you need to do is open the back of the controller and fit the six AA batteries.

Then you have to charge the Tiger up, so you open a slot on the front of the controller and carefully connect the cable from the controller to the underside of the Tiger.

Then you switch on the controller and it charges the Tiger. The Charge light will go off once it fully charges. A 30 minute charge enables the Tiger to fly for around 6 minutes.

You can also use the USB cable to charge the Tiger, which in turn saves the batteries.

Flying the Tiger

Now that it’s time to fly, you switch the Tiger on with the switch on it’s underside, and then switch on the remote control on switch.

Then it’s time to fly – and that is so much fun.

Here is a video of the Tiger in action:

My two cats loved the Tiger – they were chasing it around the room and as soon as it landed they pounced on it!

Final Thoughts

Flying the Tiger was so much fun, I found myself laughing while desperately trying to stop it from smacking into walls, the ceiling, my TV, the cats, and so on. But it really is fun you really don’t care that you are not flying it properly.

After a little while you get used to the controls and flying becomes much easier, although I found it harder to get used to flying it properly than I did flying the real thing!

I was very glad that an initial set of six AA batteries were supplied in the box – there is nothing worse on Christmas day (or any other day for that matter) than opening something and finding that you need batteries, which usually means either another trip to the shops or frantically going around all remote controls you trying to salvage batteries to use!

I was also glad they included some spare rotor blades in the box – I haven’t needed to use them yet but I know it’s only a matter of time – so good move Revell.

If you want some fun on Christmas Day, sorry, I mean if you want to give someone a fun present on Christmas Day, you should take a look at the Tiger as it is great.

Price wise, the Tiger sells for around £34.99.
