When first opened, you will be shown an overview of your office topology including the connected printer/fax machine(s), AC100S’ server health status, networked client PCs, the switch/router and connection to the Internet. Three kinds of status are shown: red (Critical), yellow (Warning), and green (Normal).
Acer Health Monitoring
The AC100S Server Health Monitoring function uses on-board sensors to give you an up-to-the-minute overview of the server’s system health. It monitors CPU, hard disk, network, temperature, fan speed (thermals) and voltage (power). Server health monitoring also lets you set up email alerts, which notify you any time the server has a hardware warning or critical issue.
Acer Power Saving
The Acer IT Smart Power Saving function allows you to create power saving rules across all clients in the network with Launchpad installed.
Acer Intel vPro Management
Acer ITSmart’s vPro Management function enables the AC100S administrator to remotely power on, power off and restart networked clients with Intel vPro technology. The feature allows for a single point of control across the network to help monitor and troubleshoot
networked machines.
All in all, Acer ITSmart is a useful add-in.
