UWHS - Amazon’s Christmas Wish List 2011

As there was a Toys & Games section, I felt I had to check it out, just for you guys!

One of the strangest, and yet quite cool things I saw was the Mattel Fijit. There are two different Fijits available – Serafina (who is pink) and Willa (who is purple).  These interactive toys recognise over 30 keywords and respond with over 150 different phrases. They also dance when you play music, and they are squishy. They will retail for £54.99.

As you may know, we are fans of Hello Kitty here at UWHS, so we were happy to see her at the event. This one is the Hello Kitty Go Glow Pal, which is a cuddly toy and night light. She retails for £19.99.

There were also bears and a Let’s Rock Elmo. Apparently Elmo is going to be one of this years biggest selling toys. He retails for £59.99, although given that Sesame Street isn’t on TV here in the UK anymore I am not sure if children are going to be putting that on the top of their wish list.

There were plenty of other things to keep the kids, and probably a few adults amused, including a motorised scooter that produces sparks when its ridden. It’s called the Razor eSpark Electric scooter, and it retails for £159.99.

Oh, and for those of us old enough to remember Pogo sticks – they are apparently coming back into fashion! This one, the Razor Bogo Pogo Stick retails for £79.99.
