Lion was released yesterday and lots of people started the process of downloading the software from the App Store. But what if you don’t want to download it or you cant?

Apple have previously said that Lion will only be available as a download, but it is a big download, and for some people downloading nearly 4GB of software just isn’t possible.

So Apple have said in August they will release Lion on a USB drive so that you don’t have to download it.

However, they are planning on charging $69 for the USB drive, compared to the $29 for the download – personally I see this as a major rip off – how can they justify $40 for a 4GB USB drive?

Have you upgraded to Lion yet? What do you think?
