We have talked about Data Robotics and their Drobo devices here at UWHS previously, well now Data Robotics have changed their name to Drobo!

Name Change from Data Robotics Reflects Strong Recognition of Drobo Brand and Products; Drobo Also Announces Move to New, Larger Corporate Headquarters

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – July 18, 2011 – Drobo, makers of the award-winning data storage products for businesses and professionals, today announced that the company has officially approved a name change from Data Robotics, Inc. to Drobo, Inc.
“Our customers and resellers have come to recognize us by the Drobo brand and product name so we decided to make it official,” explained Tom Buiocchi, CEO at Drobo. “We’re just doing what they told us to do.”
The company also announced today a move to, larger corporate headquarters at 2460 North First Street in San Jose, California, a space formerly occupied by F5 Networks, Inc.
Drobo, Inc., formerly Data Robotics, Inc., was founded in 2004 and is privately held. The company is headquartered in San Jose, California.
