Windows Live Essentials 2011 Gets an Update

Yesterday saw Microsoft release an update to its Windows Live Essential 2011 suite.

The updates include minor bug fixes and improvements rather than any major new functionality, but if you use any of the elements of WLE you should update now.

It isn’t appearing in Windows Update yet (at least for me) so for now you can download it from the Microsoft website.

  1. The update to Windows Live Photo Gallery still doesn’t include a fix for the MakerNotes corruption of Exif data that Microsoft ackowledged existed back in December 2010, but hey, it’s an update… Sigh.
