I also verified in the BIOS that the drive was recognized and that I was ready for the Restore.SATA III Hard Drive Upgrade for Project Lil Fusion

I inserted my USB drive with the Network drivers for Windows Home Server 2011 and booted from the CD.SATA III Hard Drive Upgrade for Project Lil Fusion

  1. That is a great improvement over the old drive. However I am getting the same speeds with the new Samsung 2tb drives, about 130mb/sec read and write and they are only SATA II. Are the Samsung’s so good because they are advanced format drives?
