From the Mohave Outpost I could see Nipton Road, Ivanpah Dry Lake, the Bison Steve Hotel, the NCRCF and Nevada Highway Patrol. If I could only avoid the Powder Gangers on the way to CES 2011…
Once I got there I checked into the El Rey Motel and got my equipment. I needed consumables, paper notes and caps. Boy, did I need caps. “Pip” Boy that is. Seriously, forget tablets. Give me a friggin Pip Boy.
It was then time to head out. I was going to use the monorail despite what the NCR said!
As with any level 35 Blogger (yes it goes to 35, I got the Dead Money add-on), my first priority that first evening was fuel cells…
Technocel
The people at Technocel were cool enough to give me a charge for my HTC Fortress.
This compact charger has a built-in battery that can give you up to 4 1/2 hours of talk time. It has a USB port and will hold a charge for up to 1 year. At $50 is a little costly but if you need portable power then it is a great choice!

Lenovo VaultTec
My second priority was to secure beverages by talking with a Vault Technician.
Michael Martis beat me to it. BYOB my friend, BYOB.
Gigabyte Ammunition
The next step was to secure some clips and some 5mm at the Gigabyte event.
Yes, that is a real board.
