FINAL THOUGHTS
The drive is small and light, and easy to carry around, like most of the similar Toshiba USB portable drives (I own a couple of them).
It was relatively fast and it was easy to use, and the inclusion of specialist backup software worth $50 on its own makes the value for money even better.
So if you are in the market for a cheap, portable USB 2.0 drive with backup and restore capabilities built-in you should seriously consider this drive.
The 500GB Toshiba StorE Art USB Hard Drive retails for around £60 in the UK with deals to be had if you search for them.
