A CLOSER LOOK AT THE 1:1 HDD CRUISER

The 1:1 HDD Cruiser is fairly small, although it is not tiny. The front contains the 2 drive bays and locks, and the power on/off button.

The top contains an LCD readout with information on what is happening plus menu choices, along with up and down arrow buttons for moving through the menu choices, and ENT key for selection and an ESC key for going back.

The rear has a large vent, the power connector and the USB 2.0 connector should you decide to connect the 1:1 HDD Cruiser up to your computer.

The CD that comes with it contains a 56 page user guide which details of the settings and options so that you know what each of the menu items do.

LOADING HARD DRIVES INTO THE 1:1 HDD CRUISER

Loading hard drives into the 1:1 HDD Cruiser is very simple and quick. Its just a case of gently opening the drive bay, sliding the drive in and closing the bay door until it clicks – you don’t need to lock the drive bay to activate it (so no problem if you do lose the keys).

When the drives are in, and the Cruiser is operational the Drive LEDs will light up – blue to show that the drive is seated correctly and has power, and orange to chose activity on the drive.

The original drive you want to copy goes in to the top bay, and the blank drive goes into the bottom. Don’t worry if the destination drive isn’t blank as it will be overwritten (so make sure there is nothing on it that you wanted to keep!)
