Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z New Cover art Work and more

0

Team NINJA today revealed the first official details and an all-new trailer detailing the retro-stylised side-scrolling “NINJA GAIDEN Z” Mode, which will be included in the upcoming YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z. Accompanying the new trailer are a variety of screenshots and information about Yaiba’s rage mode, entitled “Bloodlust”, and his cybernetic-savvy companion, Miss Monday. Additionally, in collaboration with comcept, “Beck” the main character of Keiji Inafune’s Mighty No.9 will make a cameo appearance in the form of an alternate costume for Yaiba. The DLC release of “Beck” will be followed by a Camouflage costume for Yaiba as well.

The new “NINJA GAIDEN Z” Mode expands the YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z experience allowing Yaiba’s over-the-top zombie chucking antics to spill over into an all-new 3D side-scrolling realm. Brought to life through classic 8-bit stylized cut screens and UI, this new mode will have Yaiba battling though hordes of elemental zombies, mechanized enemies, and other familiar baddies reminiscent of a certain 8-bit ninja’s plight (ahem) as he racks up more mad points with every brutal kill.

PS3_Cover_CS

To get through this side-scrolling gauntlet, Yaiba will have to push himself to his own limits employing all the dirty tricks of his trade. Whether it be by chain flail or cybernetic rocket punch, no amount of zombies have a prayer when face to face with Yaiba’s homicidal rage.

Fortunately for Yaiba, he will not be tackling this slaughterfest alone. Miss Monday, an engineer for Forge Industries who brought the pieces of Yaiba back to life with cybernetic enhancements, will be there making sure all of Yaiba’s cybernetics are operating at their peak performance levels as he tears through these hordes of zombies. Sure, she doesn’t really care too much about right, wrong or duty, but maybe because of this, she has an easier time dealing with Yaiba’s ”special” attitude.

In YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z, players will battle fierce zombies as Yaiba, a cyborg ninja who will do anything to get revenge and stay alive. Cleaved in two, he is brought back to life with cyber-technology. Brandishing his ninja sword and the mecha weapons in his cyber arm, he slaughters zombies with brutal, over-the-top abandon. Step into a stylized living comic book where stunning graphics depict a world gone mad. Hordes of undead can only be stopped by Yaiba’s willingness to use any means necessary to get the job done. Will he kill by turning his cyber arm into a razor chainsaw for slicing up undead—or just rip off an opponent’s arms to use as zombie nunchucks? Both possibilities fill Yaiba’s heart with twisted laughter in this upcoming collaboration between famed developers Team NINJA and comcept’s Keiji Inafune.

Free GTA Online Deathmatch & Race Creators Update Now Available

0

The free Deathmatch & Race Creators Beta update for Grand Theft Auto Online is now available for PS3 and Xbox 360. Just download the latest automatic title update to gain access to some of the same tools our own game design and development teams use to craft custom skirmishes and races in any of the following modes:

gta online

  • Deathmatch
  • Team Deathmatch
  • Race
  • GTA Race
  • Rally Race

To get started, access the Creator option from the Online tab of the pause menu. From here, you can start creating your own custom Deathmatches & Races or load and edit a previous creation. From there, you can check out a brief tutorial before you fully dive in (which I highly recommend).

gta online 2

Deathmatch

You can create free-for-all or team variant modes; find your Deathmatch location anywhere in Los Santos or Blaine county, then drop the Trigger Location, where players will meet up to play your Deathmatch. Control the pace of your custom match with gameplay options Team Start Points and Spawn Points. With the operational foundation laid, dig into a full suite of Weapons and Vehicle customization; all weapon and vehicle classes are at your disposal to place around your Deathmatch. You can also drop Props like containers and ramps, to create hot spots for gunfights, more cover, or maybe you just want a few Sanchez dirt bikes to go airborne in the middle of a gunfight.

gta online 3

Races

Get started with a working knowledge of race creation by playing through the tutorial and building a land race. Once you’ve successfully published your first Land Race, both Sea and Air Races will be available for creation. In the Race Creator you can set the basics; Race Type (Race, GTA Race, Rally Race) and Route Type (Laps or Point to Point), number of players, starting grid size, vehicle class and more. Once you’ve set the basics, the full map becomes your racing paradise – take your land, air and sea races anywhere you want them to go. Add stunt jumps with custom cameras, create obstacles, and take your opponents on your dream (their hell) ride through Los Santos and Blaine County.

Once you’ve finished, you’ll be prompted to test your Deathmatch or Race against computer controlled characters – completing a valid test before you publish your creation ensures your race is working perfectly, and will prevent you from publishing (or playing someone else’s) broken match. Published creations appear inside your GTA Online session and on the Social Club website (a linked Social Club account is required to use the Creator). We’ll also be periodically reviewing the best community-created content to recognize and distinguish them as Rockstar Verified.

Along with the Deathmatch & Race Creators Beta, the latest automatic title update has a host of new fixes and updates for Grand Theft Auto V’s Story Mode and GTA Online, including the flexibility to create weapon-locked deathmatches, giving players the ability to run inside their apartments and higher cash payouts when increasing the difficulty on Missions.

Epic new musical adventure beckons for The Legend of Zelda

0

Fans of Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series are set for a musical treat like no other as Symphonic Legends London, a concert dedicated to music from the much loved role-playing adventure series, will take place at London’s Barbican on July 13th, 2014.

logo

Featuring music performed courtesy of Nintendo, Symphonic Legends London takes concertgoers on an unforgettable journey through some of The Legend of Zelda’s best-loved themes. With new and revised scores by renowned video game arrangers, Jonne Valtonen and Roger Wanamo, Symphonic Legends London squeezes every last musical drop of action, adventure, romance, heartbreak and heroics from soundtracks to games such as The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The concert also features the world premiere of a brand new Overture of music from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, sending listeners’ imagination soaring to the skies and beyond.

Adding to the excitement, Symphonic Legends London boasts an unprecedented ensemble of musicians and singers on stage for a video game concert. Joining the world famous London Symphony Orchestra – returning to the world of video games following the success of the sell-out, Final Symphony concert in May 2013 – will be the majestic London Symphony Chorus. Encompassing well over 200 musicians and choristers, Symphonic Legends London brings the power and majesty of The Legend of Zelda series to musical life in emphatic style.

Symphonic Legends London is being developed by the award winning Merregnon Studios, the world’s leading video game concert production company. With over 10 years of experience in the genre, Merregnon Studios helped debut the first ever orchestral performance of music from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker in Germany in 2003, as well as being the first company ever to work with the prestigious London Symphony Orchestra on a video game concert.

“We’re so excited to be working with the London Symphony Orchestra on a video game concert again,” said Thomas Böcker, Producer of Symphonic Legends London. “Performing together with the London Symphony Chorus, it will be an unforgettable night for everybody, whether you’re a keen The Legend of Zelda fan or simply a lover of amazing music.”

“Working on our first video game concert earlier this year was a fantastically exciting experience,” added, Gareth Davies, Principle Flautist with the LSO. “The fans who attended the Final Symphony concert were one of the most attentive audiences I’ve ever played for and it is a delight to be playing Jonne Valtonen and Roger Wanamo’s superb arrangements again.”

Tickets for the July 13th concert will be on sale starting tomorrow 10 AM and range in price from £30 to £85. To book tickets please visit the official concert site: http://www.symphoniclegends.com/
