Based on the thrilling universe of Dark Souls II and written by Rob Williams and Andi Ewington with art provided by Simon Coleby, the first pages of DARK SOULS II: Into the Light comic are now available for free on http://bngames.eu/ds2comic. Two new pages will be revealed each week until the release of DARK SOULS II on 14th March.

At CES 2014 Vizio has announced that its 50-inch P Series 4K TV will cost just $999 (£610). For the money you’ll get a 50-inch screen with a 3840 x 2160 resolution, With a Full-Array LED backlighting, 64 Active LED Zones for improved 50 million to 1 contrast, UltraHD upscaling, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi.
With the Vizio P Series you can even adjust the frame rate to suit what you’re watching, this includes 24 fps and 48 fps allowing you to watch films as they were shot. Also with 120 fps, or High Velocity Mode, for ultimate gaming sessions.
With the P Series it comes with the Vizio’s Internet Apps and will be powered by a V6 quad-core GPU and dual-core CPU with this combining to make this four times faster than last year’s model. It is already for Netflix, who is airing 4K this year, as the Vizio remote comes with a dedicated Netflix button.
With the 4K tv having a 8mm bezel and dark metallic finish. The Vizio P Series will be on sale soon with the 50-inch model at $999 (£610), there with be a 55 inch and 60, 65 and even a 70-inch version at $2600 (£1600).

Mad Catz has been busy this week at CES 2014 to announce the R.A.T.TE (Tournament Edition), a new mouse designed for the professional and competitive gaming community.
Expected to ship early 2014 for PC and Mac, the R.A.T.TE has been designed to appeal to the e-sports professional. With a newly developed Phillips Doppler-laser sensor, the R.A.T.TE provides reference quality tracking with speeds up to 8200 DPI.

Ubisoft yesterday announced that the Aerosmith DLC pack for Rocksmith 2014 Edition is now available for download on Xbox LIVE for Xbox 360, the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 and Steam for PC and Mac.
Songs included in this 5-song pack are “Dream On”, “Legendary Child”, “Oh Yeah”, “Same Old Song And Dance” and “Sweet Emotion.”
Individual songs are available for $2.99 or the complete 5-song pack for $11.99.

Today Sony announced that the PlayStation 4 has global cumulative sales has surpass 4.2 million console sold until the 28th December of last year.

Today Sony’s Andrew House unveiled PlayStation Now at CES 2014, a streaming game service that will provide instant access to its games library from previous generations including PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 3.
The service will not be limited to only PlayStation devices (PS3, PS4, PS Vita) but also to non PlayStation devices such as televisions, tablets, and smartphones.
“Soon, playing your favourite PS3 game on a tablet will become a reality,” Andrew House said.

Today Sega has announced Alien: Isolation for a release in late 2014 developed by Creative Assembly.
The game first-person, survival horror title sees Ellen Ripley’s daughter Amanda try to survive against a lone Xenomorph that stalks her throughout the game.
The game is inspired by the first Alien movie, players must use their skill rather than weapons, with limited resources they have to survive.

NCSOFT and ArenaNet, developer of the Guild Wars franchise, today released a video trailer that highlights the game’s sprawling storyline, setting the stage for a grand finale to a narrative that began more than a year ago and introduced supervillain Scarlet Briar.
In the ‘Guild Wars 2: Our Story So Far’ video, players are reminded of the increasingly pivotal, insidious role that the evil Scarlet played in the game’s Living World storyline in 2013. The video ends with the ominous message, ‘The End Begins 21st January’.
Shedding more light on what’s to come from ArenaNet this year, Guild Wars 2 game director Colin Johanson said the following.
As we announced back in December, we’re down to just four releases to go in the current storyline of living world”, writes Johanson. “The first of those four releases is nearly upon us, and we wanted to help take a moment and look back at the key moments that have brought us up to this point as a refresher before we dive head-first into countdown to the big finale”.

As the video shows us, Scarlet’s plot began quietly during last Winter’s Flame and Frost releases, as she manipulated the mole-like dredge and charr Flame Legion into wreaking havoc in the Shiverpeaks. Her scheme continued in June’s Sky Pirates of Tyria and the Cutthroat Politics release in July, which introduced the new Aetherblade pirates, who pulled off a cunning assassination plot in Lion’s Arch.
Scarlet stepped out of the shadows during August’s Clockwork Chaos release, when she disrupted Queen Jennah’s jubilee celebration with her clockwork horrors. Next, players discovered Scarlet’s newest plans in October’s Twilight Assault release, when the renegade sylvari took over the Twilight Arbor dungeon as a new base to consolidate power and amass her forces.
In October’s Tower of Nightmares and November’s The Nightmares Within releases, players took on a new Toxic Alliance between the reptilian krait and the evil sylvari of the Nightmare Court, which erected a massive biological tower of evil at Scarlet’s bidding.
