Final Thoughts

The first thing you notice is the quality of the LS20 – it looks like a very expensive set of headphones, and the same goes for the packaging.

Charging the LS20 and getting ready to use it is simple – just plug it in and wait! Once the LS20 is fully charged you can use it for around 20 hours, although I recommend recharging before you get to that point, the last thing you want is for the battery to run out in the middle of a gaming session!

The LS20 can easily be adjusted to bit comfortably on your head and even after prolonged usage it didn’t feel uncomfortable. Both the headband and the ear cups are cushioned for comfort and feature memory foam, which was a nice touch.

You can easily fit, and remove the boom mic depending on your needs – it just plugs right in.

The volume is controlled from the left hand side, along with an useful audio mute option by pressing the left ear cup.

The right hand side also has the option to mute the mic. There is also an EQ button that controls the Bass Boost.

All the controls are easily accessible even when you are in the middle of an intense gaming session.

The sound quality on the LS20 is excellent whether you are playing games, listening to music or using it to make phone calls – it’s a really great all round headset.

The LS20 works with the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Mobile and PC. If you want to use it with an Xbox One controller without a 3.5mm port you will need to buy the Xbox One Stereo Headset adaptor as one isn’t included in the box.

The LucidSound LS20 is available now priced £79.99 and it’s an absolute bargain, and would make a great Christmas present for the gamer in your life, or for someone who wants a great quality headset.

THQ Nordic has announced ‘The Scalding Gallow’, a one-of-a-kind collector’s edition for Darksiders Warmastered Edition, due for release on 22 November 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version will release on November 29th 2016. More information on the Wii U release date for the Wii U will follow later on.

Available now for pre-order exclusively online in the UK through Green Man Gaming, the centrepiece of the one-off premium edition is a Darksiders-branded bespoke horse stable, ideal for housing your own apocalyptic steed like Ruin, the phantom horse ridden by the game’s star War.   Named after the hub world in the game, ‘The Scalding Gallow’ horse stable is a unique mobile unit measuring 10.8 x 3.6m, includes a tack room with floor, a 3m x 3.6m haybarn and two 3m x 3.6 stables that can house two phantom horses (sold separately), whilst the outside of the unit is emblazoned with Darksiders artwork and logos.

New Final Fantasy XV trailer showcases everything you need to know

Sqaure Enix today released an all-new 101 trailer for the highly anticipated FINAL FANTASY XV. The 101 trailer explores gameplay mechanics, characters and more – providing viewers with everything they need to know about the game before their epic journey of brotherhood, exploration and action begins on the 29th November! As well as an overview of the game’s story, the new trailer also offers explanations of FINAL FANTASY XV’s combat system and its blend of magic spells, summons and real-time battle action, as well as in-depth introductions to Noctis and his three comrades.

Details of a launch day update were also released. The Crown Update will be available to download automatically on the games release from the 29th November. The Crown Update is the result of some additional time for development since mastering the full game, and provides a variety of updates, minor bug fixes and new features to greatly enhance the overall story and gameplay experience. The upgrade provides enhancements for several elements within the game including:

      • Improvements to the camera with new options to better assist and track the action in tight spaces and to improve visibility during battles
      • The addition of an ability tree for the Wait Mode function improves the strategic element of this feature
      • Players can obtain the “Beast Whistle” which can be used to call monsters to battle
      • New event scenes and scenes from KINGSGLAIVE: FINAL FANTASY XV and the “Omen” trailer have also been added to the game to make the story and timeline of events within the FINAL FANTASY XV universe even easier to follow for newcomers
      • For those who enjoy collecting items, the upgrade will also add a wider variety or recipes and fish with the addition of a gallery to keep track of culinary discoveries
      • Implementation of social media support, allowing the photos Prompto takes along your journey to be uploaded to Facebook and Twitter.

Final Thoughts

We all need a screen protector for our phones – whether its because you want to stop it from being scratched, or you just want to keep in clean. ZAGG have been making screen protectors for years and I have used several of them in the past.

Fitting was very simple, you just follow the few simple instructions and within a few moments the protector is applied and that’s it.

Whilst ZAGG claim “make application bubble free”, I still had a few tiny bubbles, but those were soon smoothed out, so I was happy.

Overall I am very happy with the InvisibleShield Glass + Screen Protector, and can recommend it if you want to protector your iPhone from dust, scratches and fingerprints.

The ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass + Screen Protector retails for £24.99. This may seem very expensive for a screen protector, especially when a quick search on Amazon can find you a pack of two screen protectors for under £5, but you get what you pay for.

Warner Bros and TT Games has announced today the release of six new expansion packs for LEGO Dimensions, led by the Sonic The Hedgehog Level Pack and the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Story Pack, just in time for the 18th November release of Warner Bros. Pictures’ all-new adventure in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World.

All expansion packs in this latest wave feature Battle Arenas with competitive split-screen local gameplay for up to four players. LEGO minifigures included in the expansion packs come with special golden Toy Tags which unlock a free play Adventure World of the corresponding entertainment brand, as well as a battle arena that can be reached through Vorton. Players can explore Adventure Worlds for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Sonic The Hedgehog,  Gremlins, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, and Adventure Time, and also play four exciting gameplay modes within the battle arenas, including Capture the Flag, Objective, Base Bash, and Tick, Tag, Boom!. Fans can also add the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Fun Pack with a Tina Goldstein LEGO minifigure. She can cast  Aguamenti  to help solve puzzles and  Protego  to keep her safe from enemies. Players in need of rescue can build the Swooping Evil which can be rebuilt into the Brutal Bloom and Crawling Creeper.
With the  Sonic The Hedgehog  Level Pack, players can join Sonic and his friends in an epic battle against Eggman and Chaos and spin into action as they speed through iconic locations including Green Hill, Emerald Coast, Labyrinth and many more to collect all the Chaos Emeralds. Players can build the Sonic the Hedgehog LEGO minifigure and use his Acrobat ability to swing off poles and avoid the Badniks, then use his famous grind rails move to make a quick escape.

The pack also includes a 3-in-1 Sonic Speedster which can be rebuilt into Blue Typhoon and Motobug, and a 3-in-1 The Tornado which can be rebuilt into Crabmeat and Eggcatcher. Players wanting to bring Gremlins to life in LEGO  Dimensions can add the  Gremlins  Team Pack which includes popular rivals Gizmo and Stripe LEGO minifigures. Each will unlock the  Gremlins Adventure World, where players can explore the Cinema, Clamp Industries, the High School, and so much more. Gizmo’s Combat Roll and Dash Attack abilities can be used to get him out of sticky situations and Stripe uses his claws with his Vine Cut ability. Players can rebuild the 3-in-1 R.C. Racer vehicle into the Gadget-o-matic and Scarlet Scorpion and the 3-in-1 Flash ‘n’ Finish into a Rampage Record Player and Stripe’s Throne.

The E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial Fun Pack includes an E.T. LEGO minifigure with Illumination and Fix-It abilities, as well as special Stealth and Telekinesis skills to make his way around the LEGO multiverse.  With the corresponding Adventure World, players can build new experiences at Elliot’s house and in the suburbs, throughout the park and the forest, on the BMX trail, and even in E.T.’s spaceship.

Players can build E.T.’s iconic Phone Home device, then rebuild it into the Mobile Uplink and Super-Charged Satellite for additional in-game abilities. Fans of “Land of Ooo” can add a Fun Pack based on Cartoon Network’s  Adventure Time with a Marceline the Vampire Queen LEGO minifigure. Players can activate her Sonar Smash and Bolt Deflector abilities using the Marceline Axe Guitar to solve puzzles and battle enemies.

They can also build and use Marceline’s Lunatic Amp to make some noise, and then rebuild it into the Shadow Scorpion and Heavy Metal Monster for extra in-game powers. The pack will release in North America first at Toys “R” Us.

A few days ago we was invited for the worldwide announcement from “Propel” for Star Wars Battle Quads the first look. The first thing that strikes you is the amount of detail that these things have on each of the Star Wars Battle Quads.

The event got off to an exceedingly slow start, when the Star Wars Battle Quads, did make their appearance, they were extremely impressive, buzzing around the roof of the Planetarium like giant wasps.

The Star Wars drones models available will including a T-65 X-Wing fighter, Darth Vader’s Tie Advanced X1, and a speeder bike from Return of the Jedi complete with miniature trooper.

Each model is hand-painted and numbered, and comes in a wax-sealed gift box that lights up and plays Star Wars music specific to the film the vehicle in question appeared in.

So are “These the Droids You’re Looking for”, for one I would say so, for one I can’t wait to get my hands on a review unit in the future.

Story of Captain Kaon

The overcrowded Earth has found a new home amongst the stars – a clutch of habitable worlds in the Regulus sector. But peace in this new paradise is short-lived as a strange alien force begins a relentless assault on the colonies. This threat to human expansion cannot go unchallenged.

In response the Earth sends the finest ships in the Interstellar Navy to defend the colonists and protect its interests. Left behind are the old and out-of-date, led by the flagship Argus, a small fleet of relics to defend humanity’s homeworld.

Hotheaded and insubordinate, Captain ‘Kaon’ Talia faces a court martial as war breaks out in the Regulus sector. Hoping combat offers the chance for salvation, she instead finds herself left behind. With the Argus operating on a skeleton crew, she is assigned as its sole gunship pilot.

In the midst of this uncertainty the miners of Ceres revolt against Earth rule, refusing to supply the fleet with the deuterium fuel it sorely needs. Without it the fleet in Regulus will be unable to fight and Earth will become increasingly vulnerable. Only Captain Kaon can fly her gunship through the twisting tunnels beneath Ceres surface and fight the revolt.
