There are plenty of science fiction games out there, such as the Mass Effect franchise, but it’s difficult to come across a game set in space based on fairly realistic technology. Along comes Deliver Us The Moon and its bleak take on what the future will most likely hold for humanity.
Review: 911 Operator
First of all, this game is in no way related to Ryan Murphy’s popular 911 TV show and the outlandish accidents that the team deals with in each episode. Instead, 911 Operator is more of a simulation of what life is like for brave people such as firefighters and police officers.

A Closer Look

Final Thoughts
The HyperX CloudX Chat Headset is small and lightweight – in fact to make it easy to carry and store the headset breaks into two pieces. It’s also primarily designed so that you reverse the headset if you wish. When you first open the box you need to fix it together which is very easy, pulling it apart takes a little more effort but isn’t that hard.
All you need to do is then plug the headset into your Xbox One controller and away you go. HyperX say that the headset is also compatible with the forthcoming Xbox Series X console.
The headset sits comfortably on your head, with the one ear cup on whichever side you are most comfortable with. You can then use your other ear to listen to the game, or whatever else you need.
The headset is controlled from the in-line controller – you can change the volume on in-game chat or party chat, and you can choose to mute the mic entirely if you want to.
The microphone is permanently connected to the headset so if you are not using it you can move it out of the way. The audio quality on the mic is good and picks up your voice clearly.
The HyperX CloudX Chat Headset for Xbox One is available now priced around £19.99 and for that price you can’t go wrong – just remember it’s designed for chat.

Taurus VR Friend or Foe Seasonal Event Begins
Nusakan Studio and Perp Games are delighted to reveal that Taurus VR has received a major new Friend or Foe Seasonal Update on Steam Early Access.
The Friend or Foe event is designed to encourage competition with a new point-based system added to the leaderboards.
Nusakan Studios have introduced a brand new environment to the game which has very dark and swampy vibes.
A new mystery spaceship, known only as the Taur-20, has also been added to the game and can be unlocked if you beat the score of Nusakan Studio’s finest pilot who has 3,120 points!
The final release of Taurus VR is expected Summer 2020 on the Steam Oculus and HTC Vive Stores and will be compatible with all major PC headsets.
The new update also coincides with a price drop on Steam Early Access, and Taurus VR is now available for £4.64.
Taurus VR is retro reimagined for VR with its focus on arcade-style space shooting action and an emphasis on 6-degree body movement that really gets your adrenaline pumping.
Taurus VR pits you against an ever-present alien threat, requiring the player to use full-body movement to steer the ship and arm gestures to fulfil the attack and defensive mechanisms.
During the game’s Early Access period, Nusakan Studio have an extensive and generous content roadmap laid out, leading into the game’s full launch in the summer of 2020.
Taurus VR currently features four worlds and six spaceships. Each spaceship has unique properties, with some better suited to certain encounters than others.
With the release of this first tier, there are still a further three tiers on the content roadmap leading into launch. The final release of Taurus VR is expected to have five worlds, nine spaceships with additional mods, as well as boss battles, seasonal events and much more. Purchasing Taurus VR during the Early Access period will represent incredible value for money with the amount of content being generated by Nusakan Studio.
Of the announcement, Jaime Núñez, Creative Director at Nusakan Studios says “Adding seasonal events shows our ongoing commitment to making Taurus VR bigger and better, adding fresh content all the time. With a brand new ship, environment, and point-based leaderboard, you can try lots of new things. But I recommend you unlock all the other spaceships and worlds first so you’re fully prepared for the challenges that await in the Friend or Foe update. Do your best, pilot.”
Taurus VR is now available on Steam Early Access along with a full demo. Taurus VR will leave Early Access and release in full Summer 2020 for all major PC Headsets.

A Closer Look

Final Thoughts
The headset is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time and is easily adjusted to fit your head easily. There are additional ear cushions included in the box you can use for even more comfort. The headset itself is very hard wearing so it can take a beating!
The sound quality through the headphones is excellent, there are even adjustment sliders for the bass if you feel you want to adjust it – there are three different levels you can choose from. The virtual 7.1 surround sound really works well because of NGENUITY which auto-detects supported games and selects the best sound profile.
The audio mixer is very easy to use and provides a great balance between in game audio and chat, you can also adjust those yourself if you have a preference and it’s easy to do in the middle of a game too.
The noise cancelling microphone is detachable which means you can easily remove it and it doesn’t get in the way when you are not using it. It also works very well, even in a fairly noisy room. The headset is also Discord and TeamSpeak certified too.
The carry bag is useful to keep your headset and all it’s bits safe when carrying it around or storing it when you are not using it.
If you are in the market for a high quality 7.1 surround sound gaming headset for the your PC then you need to have a listen to the Cloud Alpha S, it may just be your next purchase.

Get a first look at gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Footage is representative of Xbox Series X gameplay!
Ninth century AD. Driven from Norway by endless wars and dwindling resources, a Viking raider, Eivor, leads a clan of Norsemen across the icy North Sea to the rich lands of England’s broken kingdoms. Their mission: establish a new permanent home, no matter the cost.
My Final Thoughts..
Well….Xbox fans wanted games…and games is what they got from today’s Inside Xbox, all of these being third party games and we still have the Microsoft Studios lineup to be revealed in July. Some are 2021 titles as to be expected by having Yakuza: Like a Dragon as a day one launch title for the Xbox Series X and Xbox One is just incredible.
Had hoped for more of a true gameplay demo for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but it looks incredible with a look at how raiding will have an impact on gameplay as Eivor and his tribe try to get a foothold in England as well as a cheeky hint at the use of Stonehenge perhaps as well.
The RTX and graphical power of the Xbox Series X was unleashed today and the footage was incredible with the lighting, particle effects all evolved with the power of the Series X console. I knew it would be impressive but these are just the third party games, just imagine what the 15 Microsoft Studios have to show off come July. One thing is for sure…..
Xbox Series X is ready to go!

A Closer Look

Final Thoughts
You may be thinking that the TickTime is just a timer – and well yes, it is a timer, but its a very cool timer!
Charge up the battery with the supplied cable and you are ready to use it.
You can select whatever amount of time you need for the reminder alarm to go off by using the buttons on it, or if you want to use of the preset times on the outside of the device you just have that number facing upwards and the timer will start counting down. You can choose from 3, 5, 10, 30, 25 or 15 minutes. The LED is easy to read and see the timer counting down.
When the timer has reached zero the alarm will go off, so whether you are using it as a reminder to take a break, or that something has finished cooking, using the TickTime is very simple. You can change the volume of the alarm as well if it’s not loud enough or if it’s too loud.
The TickTime is very small and very lightweight – it’s very easy to just slip it in your pocket and carry it around with you.
The TickTime is also magnetic so you can set it and then place on it on a magnetic surface.
TickTime is the timer you never knew you needed but really must have!

Mortal Kombat: Aftermath Story Expansion Announced
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, a new expansion for the hit videogame Mortal Kombat 11, the best-selling title in franchise history that was named Fighting Game of the Year at the 2019 D.I.C.E. Awards. Set for a global release on digital first on 26 May (from 4pm BST in the UK and Ireland) and developed by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expands the critically acclaimed story campaign with an all-new, cinematic narrative centred around trust and deceit.
The epic saga continues in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, as Fire God Liu Kang, the new keeper of time and protector of Earthrealm, must now enlist the help of unlikely allies and familiar foes to forge a new history as the fate of two worlds hang in the balance.
Adding to the growing roster of playable fighters, the new expansion features the triumphant return of Fujin, the God of Wind who serves as Earthrealm’s protector alongside his brother Raiden, and Sheeva, the four-armed, half-human and half-dragon queen of the ancient Shokan race. RoboCop, the iconic, highly advanced cybernetic police officer will make his first appearance in the franchise, continuing the pedigree of popular Mortal Kombat guest fighters. RoboCop in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath features the voice and likeness of actor Peter Weller, who portrayed the popular character in both the original “RoboCop” (1987) film and “RoboCop 2” (1990) sequel. Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will also include three new character skin packs to be released over time.
Additionally, all Mortal Kombat 11 owners will have access to new Stages, including the return of the Klassic Dead Pool and Soul Chamber arenas, accompanied by Stage Fatalities, the fan-favourite finishing moves that use the environment to destroy opponents, and the popular Friendships feature from the ‘90s, which allows players to take down their adversaries with a hint of kindness. These features will be available as a free content update in conjunction with the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath release.
“Our fans have really enjoyed the story campaign in Mortal Kombat, and we’re happy to continue the narrative and add new characters to the roster with Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath,” said Ed Boon, Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios. “In addition, Friendships and Stage Fatalities are being added as part of the free content update for all Mortal Kombat 11 players. Both are fan-favourite features that we’re excited to finally bring back to the franchise.”
New players can join the fight with the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection, featuring all characters, story content and game modes in one ultimate package. This compilation includes Mortal Kombat 11 along with all content from Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath and the previously released Kombat Pack, containing six downloadable content (DLC) characters – Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Sindel, Terminator T-800, The Joker and Spawn – plus 25 additional character skins. The Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection can be pre-ordered now for £49.99 / €59.99 (SRP) with digital preorders offering immediate access to Mortal Kombat 11 and the Kombat Pack upon purchase. A Closer Look

Final Thoughts
With newer iPhones, Apple Watches and AirPods all having the ability to be charged wirelessly you might be on the looking for a single charging mat that can do all three, and that’s where the Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger comes in. It can charge all three at the same time if you have them.
One thing that is not included is a plug, so you can either plug it into your computer or another plug. Then you can just place your devices on the mat and they will start charging. There is a small AirPods adaptor included on the inside of the mat (you use the plastic thing that comes with it to open it up). This adaptor connects to the bottom of your AirPods case so that you can stand the AirPods up on the end of the mat. The charging cable is also inside the mat and will need to be removed before its first use.
Charging the devices is very easy and quick and the charger supports 10W Fast Charging.
The mat looks very clean and simple and so will look good on your desk or table. It’s just a little bigger than the three devices placed next to each other (6.9 by 3.5 by 0.5 inches) so it doesn’t take up much room at all.
There is an LED light on the mat that indicates the progress of the charging, however this might be covered up if you put a device on it. But then its easy to check your device for the status of its battery.
If you would like the convenience of charging multiple devices at once, or you are just on the lookout for a new wireless charging mat that looks good, then take a look at this one.
The Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger is available now priced around $45.
