Today, in a bit of a shock announcement, Microsoft told the world that Drive Extender, one of the main components of Windows Home Server V1, has been removed from Windows Home Server Code Name Vail and Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials.
Today Lite-On launched a new 24x Internal DVD writer. One of the features that caught my eye was SMART Erase which overwrites existing data with random and meaningless characters so the disc can no longer be read by any drive.
It seems this week Icy Dock have a few new products, one of which is a 3 in 2 SATA backplane for adding 3 x 3.5” SATA hard drives into a case’s 2 available 5.25” bays. It’s called the MB973SP-B.
