Configuring and Using The Router 3
Every change and monitoring option can be controlled using the AI Life app.
Final Thoughts
The first thing you notice about the HONOR Router 3 is that it is quite small and thin. This means that you can place it just about anywhere in the house and it won’t stand out and look out of place.
The four antennas pop up into place and design of the router is very minimalist.
There are four ports on the rear of the router – one WAN and three LAN. The only other thing on the router is the H button on the top. Three ports doesn’t feel like enough in this modern age, but it is easy to expand your network with additional Router 3’s as required.
Setting up the Router 3 for the first time is very easy – connect the WAN port to your existing router or modem, connect your phone or laptop to the Router 3’s network, open a browser and follow the instructions. You need to set up a new Wi-Fi name and passwords and you also have the option to prioritise 5 GHz over 2.4 GHz when the signal strength is equal, which should increase your connection speeds. And that’s it – you can now use the Router 3 as your Wi-Fi device.
All the configuration options you could possibly want and need are controlled from the AI Life app. It’s very simple and intuitive to use and within a few minutes you can make whatever changes you want and need and they will be live.
There is an indicator on the front of the router that makes it easy to see the status of the router too.
I found the connection speed around various parts of the house were very good, and I had a stronger signal in some places than I had with my previous router. I also found that the connection was more stable too! When I used an HONOR 9X PRO handset the experience was even better.
Overall, the HONOR Router 3 is a really great device at a very good price, and don’t let the fact it only has 3 ports on the back put you off, it will be easy to connect another router to it and expand your home network as you need to!
Netflix has announced plans for a six part live-action limited event series called “The Witcher: Blood Origin,” and will be a prequel to the main show ‘The Witcher’ starring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia.
Set 1,200 years before the world of The Witcher, the show will chart the origins of the very first Witcher and the events that lead to the ‘conjunction of the spheres’ – when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.
1200 years before Geralt of Rivia, the worlds of monsters, men and elves merged into one, and the first Witcher came to be.
Announcing The Witcher: Blood Origin, a 6 part live-action The Witcher spin-off series from Declan de Barra and Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.
Declan de Barra will act as executive producer and showrunner said in a statement:
“As a lifelong fan of fantasy, I am beyond excited to tell the story The Witcher: Blood Origin. A question has been burning in my mind ever sinceI first read The Witcher books – What was the Elven world really like beforethe cataclysmic arrival of the humans? I’ve always been fascinated by the rise and fall of civilizations, how science, discovery, and culture flourish right before that fall. How vast swathes of knowledge are lost forever in such a short time, often compounded by colonization and a rewriting of history. Leaving only fragments of a civilization’s true story behind. The Witcher: Blood Origin will tell the tale of the Elven civilization before its fall, and most importantly reveal the forgotten history of the very first Witcher.”
The series will be made in the UK, though no casting news or filming dates have been announced. Witcher fans still have the animated spin-off film titled ‘The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf’ which will focus on and tell the origin story of Geralt’s mentor Vesemir.

What’s in the box?
The box contains the vacuum clearer, manual, power supply, stand and accessories.
A Closer Look
Final Thoughts
The Shark Cordless Handheld Vacuum cleaner is small and lightweight and even looks quite cool, if a vacuum cleaner can look cool!
The model comes with a single battery (there is a 2 battery version) and charges when sitting on the stand. Fully charging the Shark takes about 2 and 1/2 hours. A full charge lasts for about 8 minutes – now you may think that 8 minutes for a vacuum cleaner isn’t much, but remember this isn’t a replacement for your existing vacuum cleaner, this is in addition and performs a particular job. It’s for quick cleans, including small spillages, pet hair, car cleaning, etc. And it does that job well. If you need more than 8 minutes to clean something up then you probably should be doing it with a different cleaner.
Once you have done your cleaning, emptying the Shark is very simple – just hold it over the bin and press the button to activate the one-touch easy empty function. Basically the container opens and you can empty the contents into a bin. Then just pop it back on the charging stand and you are done.
The Shark comes with some accessories – a duster crevice tool and a multi-surface pet tool. Both are easy to use and sit on the charging base so you know where they are at all times when not being used. There are other accessories you can buy if you need them too!
All in all the Shark Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner is an invaluable addition to your household and you will find yourself using it a lot more than your other vacuum for those little jobs you just couldn’t be bothered to get the other one out for!
The Shark Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner is available now priced £129.99.

With Microsoft pushing Project xCloud even more (that’s the ability to play your Xbox games away from home) you will want to have something to hold your phone safely whilst you play, and this is when the Venom Travel Kit comes into play.
The kit contains a battery pack (you can use that as a spare battery to your existing one), the holder which is easy to use (just pop your phone and your controller into it then adjust it for your comfort), some thumb grips if you want to use them and a charging cable for the battery. Along with all that there is a very nice protective travel case to keep everything in (including your controller). The kit works with a standard Xbox controller and also the the Elite controller.
This is must have addition to your gaming kit if you want to play your Xbox games away from the house and keeps everything safe and together for whenever you want to play, and you get quite a lot for the price!
The Venom Travel Kit for the Xbox One is available from the 3rd August priced £19.99.

It really is hard to think that the Xbox Series X console was first revealed in December 2019 at the Game Awards and since then, Microsoft has been first in not only reveal the console appearance but also in the specs of it long before Sony stepped up with the PlayStation 5 reveal. FABLE: Reveal Trailer
Fable returns with a new beginning for the legendary franchise. Explore a land of fantastical creatures and wondrous places. Developed by Playground Games for Xbox Series X and Windows 10.
My Final Thoughts….
I have to be honest and say that this showcase was rather underwhelming after so much hype was put into this event being the grand big reveal of what all 16 Microsoft Studios have been working on for the launch of the Series X and instead….it was a Part 1, and not a hugely impactful one.
The big message from this event was a simple one, if you own “Xbox Game Pass Ultimate” then you get to play all the Xbox games as everything shown tonight is coming to Xbox Game pass, most on day one with the big surprise being that Destiny 2 and all it’s Expansion content including the new Beyond Light DLC will be available on Xbox Game Pass for console and PC as well as enhanced for Series X.
The Fable reveal was an obvious one, done in a very cute way but it really was nothing more than a confirmation then anything to get excited for in terms of what the game will be like. HALO Infinite does look amazing with a far bigger playing area than I expected, loved the trailer showing the building of the Master Chief’s new armour and the grapple hook, now that is interesting. But I knew HALO Infinite would not disappoint me and what Iv seen I like. The titles shown are fine, some we already knew and some were just “this is really going to look good with the update for Xbox Series X’. I am intrigued by the other titles but then with Xbox Game Pass I have access to them, even if I remain on my Xbox One X and not move to a Series X.
Overall it was just….not what I was expecting, after the PS5 State of Play it had games I want a PS5 to play but this showcase, especially as it was revealed to be Part 1 of showcasing MS Studio games to come means it is more waiting, instead of just revealing it now and having fans know what to expect and I am left just happy having an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscription well into 2022. I feel someone really needs to understand that building up the hype for an Xbox Series X event but only delivering a “to be continued” tease is just frustrating which is such a shame as they had lead the way into this new generation of console gaming so well and it just seems to have stumbled right now letting PS5 amaze and impress whilst Xbox Series X is just….make sure you have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Microsoft need to go big on their next event and I mean no holding back, no to be continued, just….show us everything and please let it be more impressive than today.
In linewith an increasing consumer appetite to embrace a more connected society, the Internet of Things is transforming and improving our lives through wireless connections. To maximize the potential of the connected home, global technology brand HONOR today unveiled the launch of the brand’s first Wi-Fi 6 Plus router – the HONOR Router 3.
Equipped with a Gigahome Wi-Fi 6 Chipset, a dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU along with a number of Wi-Fi 6 benefits, the HONOR Router 3 achieves ultra-fast speeds and stable connections ensuring a faster and smoother network experience. The HONOR Router 3 is available to pre-order for just €79 in hihonor Germany, hihonor France, hihonor Spain and hihonor Netherlands from today and customers in Italy can pre-order in hihonor Italy from 24thJuly. HONOR fans in selected countries can also get a free HONOR Band 5 and a pair of HONOR AM115 Earphones with every HONOR Router 3 purchase from today to 31st July as well.
Minimalist Design And Mesh Network Connection
Adopting four antennas, the HONOR Router 3 can easily be adjusted and folded into the router. Measuring just 245mm x 159.2mm x 39.7 mm, the router is smaller than traditional models, and with a symmetrical and all-white design, the HONOR Router 3 perfectly blends into a user’s home, no matter what room they are in. Thanks to its subtle red and green LED light, users can clearly see the connection status at a simple glance.
The HONOR Router 3 comes with one WAN port and three LAN ports supporting auto speed adaptation between 100Mbps and 1000Mbps. Through a single click on the “H” button on top of the configured HONOR Router 3, users can easily pair up to five HONOR Router 3 devices together to activate the Mesh Network. This expands the overall Wi-Fi network coverage without adding range extenders. In the Mesh Network, all the connected HONOR Router 3 devices will bond wirelessly to one another, extending the Wi-Fi signal to a broader area, minimizing dead zones. This allows users to enjoy continuous network coverage no matter where they are in their homes. Users can easily add and manage the routers via their smartphones.
Best-Value Wi-Fi 6 Router With Ultra-Fast Wi-Fi 6 Plus Experience
Compared with Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6 allows three times faster network speeds, four times more capacity, lower latency and 30% less power consumption. Leveraging a number of exclusive Wi-Fi 6 technologies, the HONOR Router 3 provides global users with a stable and secure Wi-Fi 6 connection.
Equipped with OFDMA Multi-User Technology (orthogonal frequency division multiple access), the HONOR Router 3 can communicate with multiple devices simultaneously (maximum 4 devices on 2.4 GHz or maximum 16 devices on 5 GHz).
Thanks to the Target Wake Time feature, users can set their connected devices to “wake up” at pre-set times for receiving and sending data while remaining in sleep mode for the rest of the time. This prevents devices from interfering with one another and allows them to stay in their battery-saving sleep modes until they wake on demand. Compared with other routers, the HONOR Router 3 reduces the power consumption of connected devices by up to 30%.
WPA3 is the latest security standard available on Wi-Fi 6 routers, which includes a new handshake protocol that enables users to use easy-to-remember passwords while still protecting their network from being infiltrated. With Individualized Data Encryption, WPA3 also protects users from vulnerable public Wi-Fi hotspots and provides a fully encrypted connection between your device and the router, even if the network is not password protected.
Equipped with all of these Wi-Fi 6-enabled features, the HONOR Router 3 also incorporates an exclusive Gigahome Wi-Fi 6 chipset and a dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU to achieve 1024-QAM and 160MHz ultra-large bandwidth, boosting network speeds to over 1 Gbps. This promises a fast transfer rate with better and wider coverage for users to enjoy super-fast download and upload speeds on all their Wi-Fi 6 devices. With the support of the HONOR Router 3, users can download HD movies in just 10 seconds and enjoy 60% faster network speeds on other Wi-Fi 5 compatible HONOR devices. For gaming fans, the HONOR Router 3 is the perfect choice to gain a competitive edge thanks to the advanced chipset. Wi-Fi 6 supports and delivers greater bandwidth to a greater number of devices, allowing users to have a lag-free experience when connecting several devices at once.
HONOR’s innovative Dynamic Narrow Bandwidth technology enables Wi-Fi 6 supported HONOR smartphones to send up to 6dB stronger signals back to the HONOR Router 3 to achieve faster speeds and extensive Wi-Fi coverage. Even in environments with poorer Wi-Fi signal or if users are connecting from somewhere far from the device, the HONOR Router 3 seamlessly adjusts the bandwidth and improve the overall signal to ensure better reception and stable connections.
AI Life APP – Manage Your Home Wi-Fi From Anywhere
When it comes to network management, the HONOR Router 3 is paired with a dedicated AI Life App to enable a one-stop-shop for smart network management. Supporting Device Management, users can manage connected devices such as setting speed limits, scheduling internet time, etc. For those who would like to manage their kids’ Internet usage, the Parental Control feature allows parents to set schedules of internet usage to balance screen time for their kids. The App also features a Smart Diagnostic setting that offers a rapid health-check to help users identify common problems such as Wi-Fi signal strength, firewalls and Internet connection, to help users get back up and running.
Price and Availability
Priced at just €79, the HONOR Router 3 is an affordable and high-performance Wi-Fi 6 router offering ultra-fast speeds and stronger wall-penetration capability. Available in White, the HONOR Router 3 will be able to pre-order in Germany, France, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands from today (21st July) and in Italy from 24th July. The Marvel Legends Deadpool’s Head is a premium, electronic, interactive, app-enhanced collectible with over 600 SFX and phrases, multiple sensors, and motors for expressive movement. Using the free app, set Deadpool up to play pranks, insult your friends and loved ones, or wake you up every morning… maybe even on time!
What’s in the box?
The box contains Deadpool’s head and some instructions.
A Closer Look
Using Deadpool’s Head
To get the most out of Deadpool’s Head you need to install and use the app.
Once you have paired your phone with his head you are all ready to go. You can choose from various modes and pranks to select, make your own videos, put him in Party Mode and so much more.
Final Thoughts
The first thing you notice when taking Deadpool’s head out of the box is the attention to detail, it’s amazing.
Before you can wake Deadpool up, you need to fit 4 C batteries, yes 4! Make sure you have them available because the box doesn’t contain any.
Pairing Deadpool with your phone was a very simple and quick process. You don’t need to use the app, you can just switch on Deadpool and leave him – he will talk, move his head and do other things all on his own. The fun really comes from using the app – there are literally hundreds of things to do and hear from him. In all the time I was reviewing him I hardly heard the same thing twice!
I’m not going to spoil any of the fun by going into details of what he says and what the modes do – suffice to say they are all a lot of fun – where is that red button again?
Whether you want to be insulted by Deadpool, listen to him tell you jokes, or just have a really cool replica of his head on your shelf, the Marvel Legends Deadpool’s Head from Hasbro is a must have if you are a Deadpool fan.
Marvel Legends Deadpool’s Head from Hasbro is available now priced around £99.95.
November really has become the most packed gaming month of the year with the delay of Cyberpunk 2077 pushing it back to the same week in November that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will release. Now gamers can add Destiny 2’s new expansion ‘Beyond Light’ to November as Bungie has announced that they have delayed it from the original September release to November 10th.
We have made the decision to move the release of Destiny 2: Beyond Light to November 10.
As the first chapter in a new trilogy of expansions, Beyond Light is the beginning of a new era of Destiny 2. We have a powerful story to tell and incredible new features that we’re really excited for players to experience. As always, our goal is to make the coolest, most entertaining expansion we can possibly make for our fans. To that end, we are doing what’s best for the game and moving the launch date.
The past few months have been a challenge and will continue to be during this pandemic. We’ve learned to create together in a new way, by having to work apart from one another. Despite these hurdles, we’re still committed to the same level of quality that our fans expect. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be unveiling more of what we’re working on for Beyond Light and what that also means for Season of Arrivals, which will now extend to November 10.
Beyond Light sets the stage for an incredible future in Destiny 2 and, though it’s coming later than we originally anticipated, we’re excited to continue that journey with you this November.
November is truly packed with an abundance of big name titles releasing in the same short period and not to mention the realistic expectation that both Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 might also release in November with their launch titles and Destiny 2’s new expansion is likely to be buried under them for anyone but die hard fans.
But the world is in a difficult place right now and trying to work on any video game content ‘From Home’ is an unprecedented struggle we could not even possibly appreciate. Hopefully the wait will be worth it for fans now having to wait a little longer for the next big Destiny content drop.
