Ubisoft has released Trials Evolution – Riders of Doom, the second downloadable content (DLC) for the wildly popular Xbox LIVE Arcade game, Trials Evolution. Here is what they announced today:

London, UK – December 5, 2012 – Today, Ubisoft^® and RedLynx announced the forthcoming release of Trials Evolution – Riders of Doom, the second downloadable content (DLC) for the wildly popular Xbox LIVE^® Arcade game, Trials Evolution. The DLC will be available this December to download for 400 Microsoft Points.

The Riders of Doom builds on the successes of Trials Evolution offering 40 new tracks set in The Big Sand Lands – a new environment inspired by the end of the world, that gamers will see build up and tear down throughout levels – and a powerful motorbike dubbed the Banshee to add to the Trials garage. The new downloadable content will also feature hundreds of new editor objects expanding the already robust level editor. Gamer’s mettle will also be put to the test in ten brand new Skill Games, including an endless series of generated extreme obstacles.

Trials Evolution features multiplayer competition, single player challenges, and user-generated content for almost endless gaming possibilities. To date, more than 200 000 player-created tracks have been made available through its in-game content sharing system. Riders of Doom will only add to the possibilities of what players can build within the game.

The new Skyrim DLC called Dragonborn have been released.

With this official add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, journey off the coast of Morrowind, to the island of Solstheim. Encounter new towns, dungeons, and quests, as you traverse the ash wastes and glacial valleys of this new land. As well as the demo for Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, NAMCO have released part one of a behind the scenes video.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is an epic Japanese role-playing-game developed by the critically acclaimed Japanese development studio, LEVEL-5. The game features animations and cut-scenes that are produced and supervised by the legendary Japanese animation company, Studio Ghibli. The music in the game was composed by the world-renowned music composer Joe Hisaishi.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is the heart-warming tale of a young boy named Oliver, who embarks on a journey into another world to become a wizard in an attempt to save his mother. Along the way, Oliver makes new friends and tames many of the wonderful creatures that inhabit the world, raising them to battle other creatures on his behalf as he takes on formidable enemies.

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch demo now available on PSN

NAMCO BANDAI Games and LEVEL-5 today announce that the demo of the highly anticipated JRPG Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will be available on the Sony PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 on December 4^th in North America and on December 5^th in Europe.

You will be able to play through two different levels of the game where you can test your mettle against a couple of the game’s most infamous bosses: Guardian of the Woods and Moltaan.

Drive Bender v.1.4.2.5 (Tomcat) for Windows Home Server 2011 available now

There is an update to the beta of Drive Bender for Windows Home Server 2011, taking it to version v1.4.2.5, also known as the Tomcat release.

Release v1.4.2.5 beta

Bug fix: During a pool initialization or pool restore, Drive Bender can hang on Windows 8, Server 2012.
Bug fix: On Windows 8 / Server 2012 (can also apply to older O/S’s), Windows can throw recycle bin corrupt error messages (cause by permissions issues).
Update: When creating a drive letter mount point, the default “drive” permissions are now set to “Everyone”. This is to prevent some users experiencing the message “You need permission to perform this action”.
Update: Some interface additions and tweaks.

TomTom updates their Navigation app for Android

TomTom has released a new update to the app that makes it available to more Android owners. The latest version is optimised for use with the latest and most popular smartphone handsets including the Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One X and Google Nexus 4.

As well as supporting more than 200 of the newest Android devices, the update brings other improvements. The download manager has been improved and maps are now stored on the phone’s SD card (if available) to save valuable phone memory. The Driving View has also been updated, making the journey information clearer at a glance. In addition, postcode entry is more flexible and the app can find locations from the phone address book more reliably.

TomTom Navigation for Android v1.1 is available to download now from the Google Play Store.

The Last of Us story teaser trailer released

Next year will see the release of the game The Last of Us, and Naughty Dog have a new story teaser trailer out.

In case you haven’t heard about the forthcoming Naughty Dog game The Last of Us, here is how Sony described it:

Abandoned cities reclaimed by nature. A population decimated by a modern plague. Survivors are killing each other for food, weapons; whatever they can get their hands on.

Joel, a brutal survivor, and Ellie, a young teenage girl who’s braver and wiser beyond her years, must work together if they hope to survive their journey across the US.

The Last of Us by Naughty Dog, and published by Sony exclusively for the PlayStation 3 will be out next year, I can’t wait.

Dishonored gets updated to version 1.2

There has been an update for Dishonored with a number of bug fixes.

The update includes:

• Support for playing the game on multiple screens.
• Game Settings are now saved and restored properly even when using Steam offline.
• Fixes for some interactions with Granny Rags that invalidated nonlethal playthroughs under certain circumstances. (Note: These fixes work even for savegames AFTER the final Granny Rags encounter.)
• Fix for a crash that could happen during loading/transition between areas – notably near Dr. Galvani’s house.
• Reworked “Choke” interaction to make it more reliable in valid contexts.
• Fixed global post-process that sometimes worked improperly during some missions.

XCOM Slingshot DLC now available on Steam

If you are a fan of XCOM you might be interested in the new Slingshot DLC available on Steam.
