How do I take part in the Halo 4 Infinity Challenge?

Simply register and then start competing within the Leaderboard Challenge of your own choice. Your score will be tracked on the War Games leaderboards and the number of games you complete will be tracked on the Spartan Ops leaderboards from the day you sign-up.

Once you sign-up you will automatically be eligible for the War Games Leaderboard, Spartan Ops Leaderboard and the Weekly Challenges.

How long does this challenge run?

The Halo 4 Infinity Challenge has a qualifier period running from Dec17, 2012 to Jan 10, 2013 and a finals period from Jan 12, 2013 to Jan 19,2013

How does the Qualifier Leaderboard period work?

During the qualifier period you gain rank on the leaderboards by playing in War Games quick matches or Spartan Ops Chapters to increase your score or complete games for their respective leaderboard. Players rank up within the leaderboards to get into either one of the three tiers.

Tiers have been setup to split up players during the finals and give out prizing to players of all levels, from rookies to full blown elites.

How do Finals Leaderboards work?

Once the Qualifier Leaderboards are finished, players get placed into a tier depending on their rank.. From Jan 12, 2013 to Jan 19, 2013 players then compete against players with-in their tier to rank up to win prizing.

Finals competition is played exactly like Qualifier Leaderboard where you play War Games quick matches or Spartan Ops Chapters to increase score or number of games completed for the respective leaderboard. Note that score are reset to zero for the finals so that everyone in the tier has a fresh start to win.

BRIGHTON, UK — NCSOFT® and ArenaNet™ are excited to host the third major event since the launch of Guild Wars 2, entitled Wintersday. Starting on 14 December, Wintersday will bestow bundles of holiday joy in the form of gifts, unique mini-games, new events and presents upon all in Tyria.

A Guild Wars Holiday Classic
The Wintersday event continues ArenaNet’s tradition of delivering regular content, compelling events and rewarding opportunities for players, all subscription-free. In this event, Tixx will be making his way to Lion’s Arch, stopping at every major city on the way to deliver Wintersday toys to all races. However, Tixx’s golem servant Toxx throws a wrench into the process by hatching some Wintersday plans of his own and the toys go haywire!

At each stop, players will be able to access a new toy event and earn a new toy. After the Toymaster makes his rounds, his airship will hover in Lion’s Arch, where players can earn more rewards and take part in unique Wintersday events building up to hectic holiday Toypocalypse.
