There is another live Gears Talk event happening tonight, this time with Baird, the lead character of the game! Fans will be able to submit questions, and the voice actor of Baird will be in the studio doing audio responses for the best questions.

Set years before the events of the original “Gears of War” trilogy, “Judgment” centers on Kilo Squad, a troop of soldiers led by Damon Baird and Augustus “The Cole Train” Cole. They are joined by newcomers to the “Gears” series, Sofia Hendrick and Garron Paduk, as they attempt to save the besieged city of Halvo Bay from a terrifying new enemy.

We recently interview Jim Brown from Epic Games. We talked about old characters and new, new modes, cosplay and we even have new gameplay footage to share. Here is that interview:

More than one million units of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 have shipped to retailers worldwide in anticipation of the global launch tomorrow and there is also some free DLC.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 hits the shelves tomorrow at retailers for the Xbox 360 , PlayStation 3 for £39.99 and Windows PC for £24.99.

“From the suspenseful tactical sniper experience and multitude of real world locations, to the incredible visuals, advanced AI and intelligent physics using Crytek’s, state-of-the-art, CryENGINE 3, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is a game built for the modern military video game enthusiasts,” said Marek Tyminski, CEO of CI Games. “Free multiplayer DLC containing two new maps and an exciting additional game mode is just the first step in our plan to support the Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 experience for our fans after launch. We will also soon release a dedicated update to the PC version of the game that will allow gamers to enjoy all the advantages of DirectX 11.

The Free downloadable content (DLC) pack will introduce new multiplayer maps (Tower Defense and Temple Crossing) and a completely new game mode. Call of Juarez Gunslinger gets first gameplay trailer

Today, Ubisoft released a its first gameplay trailer for Call of Juarez Gunslinger.

From the dust of a gold mine to the dirt of a saloon, Call of Juarez Gunslinger is a real homage to the Wild West tales and era. Players will live the epic journey of Silas Greaves, a ruthless bounty hunter who spent his life on the trail of the West’s most notorious outlaws. Now it is Silas’ time to tell his story, which is linked to the history of the Wild West era: a mix of myths and historical facts.

Made of memorable encounters with some of the West’s most notorious names such as Pat Garret, Jesse James and Butch Cassidy, the game blurs the lines between man and myth. Call of Juarez Gunslinger lets players live the greatest legends of the Old West.

GRID 2 new video An American Dream and screenshots from Codemasters

Today Codemasters released a new trailer for GRID 2 and some new screenshots.

Patrick Callahan outlines his plans for a new motorsports series and introduces players to two key racing clubs he needs to recruit as in-game footage showcases some of GRID 2’s American locations, including Street Racing in Chicago, Track Racing at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Road Racing at the dramatic California Coast. It’s Callahan’s intention to bring the best drivers from different disciplines and styles from all over the world together to compete in one unified league and find the ultimate driving superstar. But to set up a new motorsports series, and get the rewards he craves, he needs a star.

Disney Infinity Delayed Until August

Disney Infinity has been delayed until August at the request of retailers, it has been announced. Originally due to be released in June, the game has been pushed back until 18th August in North America and 20th August in Europe. A June launch had originally been planned to coincide with the release of Pixar movie Monsters University.

However, Disney’s John Pleasants told the New York Times that retailers wanted a release date closer to the holiday season.

“The date became an issue in terms of them asking, ‘Is there a better opportunity here?'” Pleasant’s explained.

Closer to the end of the summer holidays, Disney is hoping children will return to school with Infinity toys to trade, before insisting that the delay is not a sign of development problems.

“We could deliver in June if we wanted to. Will a two-month timing change help us? Sure, of course. It gives us a little more time to add bells and whistles and make sure it really sings and pops,” he added. Announced earlier this year, Disney Infinity is a new platform from Disney that combines physical figurines with a video game similar to Activision’s Skylanders series.

It offers two contrasting modes through Play Sets and the Toy Box, and features characters from multiple Disney franchises such as Cars, Monsters and Pirates of the Caribbean. Play Sets are essentially self-contained and story-driven worlds for each respective Disney universe, each featuring their own combat systems, toys and gameplay styles.

Meanwhile, Toy Box allows players to freely mix and match franchises and gadgets, along with having deep customisation features to edit the environment and even create new games.

Disney Infinity will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii and Wii U.

Sniper Elite 3 Announced for 2014 for Current Consoles and Next Gen

Sniper Elite 3 has been announced by 505 Games and Rebellion. Confirmed for current and next-generation platforms in 2014, gameplay and narrative details remain thin on the ground at the moment in time.

It was commissioned in response to strong sales for Sniper Elite V2, which shifted 1.1 million copies between April and December last year.

Sniper Elite V2 was released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC last year, and has since received additional multiplayer content and a zombie-based spinoff titled Nazi Zombie Army.

Announced last month, Nazi Zombie Army features a four-player co-operative campaign set in WWII, as well as new enemies and weapons.

Twitter for Windows 8 now available

There is now an official Twitter app for Windows 8 and its in the Windows Store now.

Today, we are releasing Twitter for Windows 8, a new app that makes it easier than ever to share and discover content on Windows 8 devices. In addition to familiar Twitter features, including the Home, Connect, Discover, and Me tabs, this app introduces new functionality that takes advantage of unique Windows 8 features.

Snap view: Use another app alongside Twitter. Snap Twitter into the left or right side of the screen and then start using another app. You’ll be able to keep up with the conversations that are happening on Twitter while you watch a streaming video or read a news story. With snap view, you can adjust the size of the app to one-third, two-thirds or full screen.

Photos: Large and center. With an all-new landscape view, not only can you view a larger version of individual photos, but you can also swipe horizontally to view multiple photos in the Discover tab or a user’s profile. Tap a photo to view it in full screen, which showcases large photos in the center of the screen, or view the photo gallery from your favorite users.

Share charm: Tweet from any app, at any time. Simply swipe from the right edge of Windows 8 and then choose the Share charm to share content from any app, such as a photo or news article, to Twitter.

Search charm: Search when you’re inspired. Similar to the Share charm, the Search charm makes it easy to find an account or see Tweets using a certain hashtag. Just swipe from the right edge of Windows 8 from any app and select the Search charm.

Live Tiles and notifications: Don’t miss a beat. Keep up with what’s happening on Twitter using the Twitter Live Tiles and notifications, which show no matter which app you’re running.

Guardians of Middle-earth now has Saruman available for download

Gamers can download and play as the infamous White Wizard, Saruman in Guardians of Middle-earth on Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network.

In Guardians of Middle-earth, gamers team up as the most powerful heroes from the greatest fantasy epic of all time, bringing up to 10 players together in a competitive multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. Featuring select characters from the film, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the game allows players to develop and master more than 20 iconic characters. Play as Gandalf, Gollum, Legolas, Sauron and more, forming memorable and unlikely alliances with and against friends. Gamers can connect with other players via an in-game voice communication system, as well as access to a comprehensive online stat and leader board system where they can track friends’ victories and defeats, and more. Before his betrayal, Saruman was the Chief of the Wizards and leader of the White Council, including leading fellow Wizards, Radagast and Gandalf, all of whom were sent to protect Middle-earth.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions also released new character art, bio, ability details and a new video about playing as Saruman, whose abilities include a shield that detonates for area ability damage and silence.

Bethesda have announced that Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall, is the second add-on pack for the critically-acclaimed first-person action game developed by Arkane Studios.

In Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall, you take on the role of Daud, the legendary assassin who killed the Empress. This second add-on pack for the award-winning first person action game from Arkane Studios gives you a new perspective on Daud, and access to his weapons, gadgets, allies and supernatural abilities.
