Playable in OverRun mode, Dreadnought is set on the naval vessel CNV Pomeroy, on which the COG transported captured Locust Berserkers following Emergence Day.

“Little did they know that the Locust had waterborne beasts from the underground rivers of the Hollow, or that the Locust soldiers would use them so relentlessly to rescue the captured Berserkers,” reads the map’s description.

“The Pomeroy was corralled into a narrow channel and forced ashore, where the Locust sent a mass of troops to assault and overwhelm the beached vessel.”

The power to topple empires will be in the hands of all who choose to seize it.  The game’s massive battlegrounds, deadly weapons, and futuristic vehicles form the foundation of the deep first-person shooter action that awaits, while unrivaled customization options allow players to shape their strategic advantage, tactical edge, and combat style with cunning and skill.

DUST 514 is also fully integrated with New Eden, the notorious setting of EVE Online, a massive game universe that recently surpassed a half-million subscribers worldwide. As DUST players wage war in this first-person shooter at unprecedented scale, the outcome of each ground battle impacts the persistent universe, shifting the tide of war for legions of participants. Mercenaries can gain the advantage by coordinating with starship pilots in EVE Online, calling in devastating orbital strikes against opposing squads. The fortunes of DUST 514 players will rise and fall as they align themselves with like-minded warriors to make their mark across the EVE Universe.

Synology® Officially Releases the DS1513+

Scalability and efficiency for small and medium businesses

Milton Keynes, United Kingdom-14th May 2013 – Synology UK Ltd today launched the DS1513+, which comes from a long tradition of reliable NAS servers. This 5-bay unit brings a new dimension to scalable and powerful storage for small and medium businesses.

“Not only can the DS1513+ be expanded up to 15 bays and 60TB with two DX513 units, it’s also equipped with a fully configurable 4-ports LAN adapter. The DS1513+ is designed to bring perfect balance between bandwidth, safety and cost-efficiency for all our users. Reducing downtimes while providing a high bandwidth capacity is now possible,” declares Wayne An, Product Manager, Synology.

The DS1513+ comes with a dual core 2.13GHz CPU and no less than 2GB of RAM, which can be expanded to 4GB. This hardware has been fine-tuned to run on the award-winning operating system DSM 4.2, allowing the NAS to reach data transfer rates up to an average of 350.94 MB/sec (reading) and 202.34 MB/sec (writing) with link aggregation. The DS1513+ includes other improvements such as screw-less hard drive trays and noise reducing anti-vibration pads.
