Earlier release date and beta dates released for Destiny 2

Destiny 2 developer Bungie has outlined some “save the dates” for fans who want to get in on the betas for the upcoming sequel. They also decided to drop a PC release date of 24th October, about seven weeks after the PS4 and Xbox One launch on 6th September. The console date was originally revealed as 8th September.

The first date to know is 18th July, when players that pre-ordered for PS4 will get to jump into the closed beta, Bungie said in a tweet. Those that pre-order for Xbox One will get to start the following day. On 21st July, the PS4 and Xbox One open beta kicks in, with the beta ending two days later on 23rd July. Finally, PC player will get their own beta sometime in late August.

Destiny 2 will be optimized for the newly announced Xbox One X, with game director Luke Smith saying it will run at 30FPS. That seems a bit odd given that 4K and 60FPS are starting to become the norm.

At last Beyond Good and Evil 2 is shown at Ubisoft E3 event

0

Ubisoft surprised us all with the debut of Beyond Good & Evil 2, after nearly waiting 15 years for the second game. Creative director Michel Ancel, who has been pushing to get the game through development, was so happy to finally reveal the game that he wiped away a tear before beginning to talk about it.

Journey to System 3, for the prequel to one of Ubisoft’s most beloved games! Fight alongside unforgettable characters in a stunning new solar system, as you struggle for freedom and the right to determine your own fate among the stars. Play the adventure by yourself or with friends in a vast and seamless online playground.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is the spiritual successor to the cult classic, a prequel that will transport players into a profoundly multicultural world, capturing the spirit of the original with grandiose decors and intense dramas that play out across a vast universe. Through the Space Monkey Program, Ubisoft Montpellier will be developing the game alongside its community of fans.

System 3 has become the center of interstellar trade and colonization in the Milky Way of the 24th century, thanks to the creation of Hybrid slaves. While private enterprises fight over resources and power, the first colonists weave together the rich and diverse spiritual and cultural heritages of Old Earth to give meaning to their existence. In this new era of piracy, we will rise from lowly pirate to legendary captain at the helm of massive star-faring

The Crew 2 announcement trailer shown off at Ubisoft E3 event

0

Ubisoft’s E3 press conference has begun, and the company is showcasing some of the many exciting games they have in the works. Among those titles is The Crew 2, a game that aims to push the motorsports genre to its extreme limits.

Stephane Belev, Creative Director Ubisoft Ivory Tower, took to the stage to show off a trippy new trailer for the game that seems more than a little inspired by the likes of Inception.

Watching the trailer, it’s hard to know exactly what sort of game The Crew 2 is aiming to be; however, it’s pretty clear that there are a few fundamentals at the core of the game’s design, and those fundamentals include speed, power, and performance across all wakes of motorized sports.

It’s all not about racing, however: players will be able to drive around and enjoy the simple natural beauty of the game’s lush environments using any means they like, from stunt aircraft to motocross bikes and even speedboats. Narrow rivers, sand dunes, ribbons of tarmac, and the skies themselves are available for players enjoy however they see fit.

Ubisoft hasn’t given any firm release date for the game, but E3 attendees will be able to check out some first-hand gameplay at Ubisoft’s E3 booth. Even better, Ubisoft is currently taking applications for beta access, and all the necessary information can be found over at the official Crew 2 website.

The Crew 2 is set to release for PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, and PC in early 2018

Ubisoft new IP is called Skull and Bones at this years E3

0

Ubisoft’s E3 press conference is pulling out all the stops, and one of the most exciting titles on display is their new IP called Skull and Bones. It’s a game that’s meant to give players a true sense of what it’s like to be a pirate, and Ubisoft has an all-new trailer that’s sure to stoke the fires under any would-be sailors.

Ubisoft hasn’t spilled all the beans when it comes to what players can expect from Skull and Bones, but we do know that the game will allow players to collaborate as well as compete with other players online. And, in the traditional fashion, players will be able to forge new alliances with new crews, even if it means betraying the old.

What happens when you put Mario in a Rabbids game you get Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle

0

Shigeru Miyamoto was on hand at Ubisoft’s press conference to give the official unveiling of the new Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle, exclusively for Nintendo Switch. The game will be released on 29th August.

The game has been rumoured for a while, and was a bit of a surprise in its craziness. But Miyamoto was onboard with it as long as it wasn’t a platformer. In creating the tactical adventure game, Miyamoto told Ubisoft that he wanted them to “Make a Mario game that’s never been made before,” and he seems rather happy with the result.

The turn-based RPH has the Rabbids transported into the Mushroom Kingdom, but that event has made it a bit unstable. They team up with Mario to save the Kingdom. Mario, Peach, Luigi and Yoshi team up with some similarly attired Rabbids and with some silly guns to take on enemy Rabbids.

Bethesda Showcases Skyrim On Switch at E3 2017

0

Bethesda gave a brief gameplay trailer showing off Skyrim on Switch. They also revealed that the game will have support for Amiibo and motion controls. No release date was shown during the trailer.

During the trailer, we see a Breath of the Wild Amiibo used to drop a chest into Skyrim. It’s implied that in this chest, the player acquired a BOTW Link outfit, along with a Master Sword and shield. It’s likely that different Amiibo will be used to drop Nintendo themed mods into Skyrim, and that’s awesome.

We also see the player use the joycon’s motion controls to swing a sword, block with a shield, and fire arrows. Although this seems very cool in concept, we worry that they may become clunky and difficult to use precisely. That being said, it’s good to see companies bringing AAA titles to the Switch. We’ll be sure to update this article if any new details come out for Skyrim on Switch.
