Wilstar to become Free to Play this Autumn

NCSOFT and Carbine Studios has today announced that WildStar, one of the most critically-acclaimed MMOs of 2014, will become free-to-play this autumn. As this transition takes place, Carbine is committed to ensuring that WildStar will remain AAA, offering polished regular updates and a high-quality experience.

”At the beginning of 2015, we outlined key points of focus for WildStar to help make this great game even better, focusing heavily on player feedback and bringing meaningful changes”, said Mike Donatelli, product director, Carbine Studios. “We continue to deliver on those points and feel strongly that removing the subscription cost will give everyone who loves MMOs, or just wants to have an incredible gaming experience, a chance to try WildStar”.

Over the next several months, the studio will share more details about how this transition will impact current and future players along with more detail on the significant improvements coming to the game. Women coming to FIFA 16

Today EA has announced the first feature has been revealed for FIFA 16 and it’s the addition of Women’s National Teams to the game.

There are only 12 women’s teams, all of which are international, so none of the world’s vibrant domestic or college leagues are featured. The full list of teams are USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Sweden, China and Australia.

FIFA 16 will be available this 22nd September (NA), 25th September (UK) on: PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 3.

Here is the first picture of the box of the new Xbox One controller that rumoured to be announced next month at E3.

It looks like Microsoft will announce a new Xbox One controller at E3 this year, if documentation leaked on the company’s own Xbox Support website is anything to go by.
The support site has been updated with mention of a 3.5mm headphone port at the base of the pad, with the site mentioning that “this new feature is only available on controllers released after June 2015.”
