Can LG continue from last years LG G3, with this years model the LG G4, now lets find out with the review.
Creating the breeding ground for advanced next generation smartphones, the LG G4 is on its way to be the best smartphone of 2015. With a screen that curves ever so slightly, a leather back fit for a king, Quad HD display and raw power under the hood, the LG G4 as the potential for great things.

What you get in the box
Design And Build Quality

The LG 4, unlike any of the older flagship smartphones from LG, sports a removable backplate, replaceable battery pack and an expandable memory with MicroSD slot.
The back plate of the LG G4 is clear and shiny high grade plastic, diverging from the metallic faux plastic plate of the LG G3. However, the backplate comes in a stitched leather which is available in an assortment of colours (this review is testing the LG G4 in White).
The vegetable-dyed colours of the backplate are crafted over a time period of three months with a look and feel that is mesmerizing LG G4 4
You will love the subtle curve of the LG G4 QHD screen. The side bezel has been designed to ensure that almost none of the Gorilla Glass screen does not touch the surface when you place it down. LG claims that this smart design tweak makes the device 20% stronger than its predecessor.
The Display
LG is at the forefront of the latest 4K technology in televisions, so it is no surprise that they have minimized the QHD technology into their latest flagship smartphone. The smartphone sports a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 which was offered by the G3 as well. The LG G4 takes the viewing experience up a notch with the Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI), which improves the natural colours of the pictures and videos.

Taken with HDR on when it was dark the light wasn’t good even with the lighting on the roof of the building.
Again not much lighting as it was night time, again the LG G4 did a very good job.
The picture quality is impeccable, no matter what your viewing angle is and the highest level of brightness. While the black colours aren’t as deep as the of the AMOLED display, the IPS panel does well to keep the picture quality superior.
Power Of Performance
The specs of the LG G4 are more than adequate to take up any straining task you throw at it. The hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset is fairly competent in multitasking, and clock up to a speed of 2.5 GHz.
The delightful animation of the Android Lollipop OS as smooth as butter on the Snapdragon 808, and switching between several apps does not feel like a drag at all. Whether you have ten tabs open in the memory guzzling Google Chrome, or have multiple apps running at the same time, the 3GB RAM that LG G4 boasts will take care of everything.
The Battery
The battery on the LG G4 will last you a normal day like a 9-5 job with battery still left over to get you home.
The Audio And Camera
When comes to improving the sound quality of the speakers, LG G4 has done a less than adequate job compared to the competing flagship smartphones.

Tucked away at the bottom of the corner, the LG G4 has certainly faded away in the background when compared to the stereo speaker on the HTC M9 and the Samsung Galaxy S6.

The camera of the LG G4 sports a 16 MP lens with an Optical Image Stabilizer 2.0 and a large f/1.8 aperture. This means that you can snap great pictures with bright lighting conditions, and be safe from the shaky hands well. However, the main purpose behind the high end camera is to use it as a secondary DSLR. The dual LED flash for bright lighting and the colour spectrum sensor redefine mobile photography in every way.
The Final Verdict
After the unprecedented success that the LG G3 received last year, the LG G4 had many expectations to fulfil, which it does. The slight curve of the screen, along with the dynamic QHD display will rob the hearts of any visual entertainment lover. The removable back plate and battery, along with memory expansion makes the smartphone more versatile.
While the speakers of the smartphone could have been on par with the competition.
When it comes down to the basics, the LG G4 can be expected to be the next best thing in the Android world prices from around £350 sim free if you look around.
