From The Crew to XCOM coming to Games with Gold for June 2016

Microsoft has revealed the Games with Gold for June, with Goat Simulator and The Crew for the Xbox One.

Xbox One title Goat Simulator will arrive on 1st-30th June, while The Crew will replace last month’s Games with Gold title on June 16. Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles include Super Meat Bros and XCOM Enemy Unknown.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that a new Super Hero will be available in LEGO Marvel’s Avengers – Spider-Man! The Spider-Man Character Pack will be available starting today as a complimentary download for all consumers who purchase the game. This exciting new content will feature six (6) fan-favourite web-slingers in full LEGO form, including the character’s first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as seen in the recently released blockbuster, Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, and classic versions from select Marvel comics.

Different Ways to Play

Today Disney has released a teaser trailer “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle.

Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.

Using the RE450

The RE450 is setup and configured using the web front end. Here are a few screenshots showing it:

Final Thoughts

The RE450 is quite large, but it is also rather light weight. One slight drawback to the size is that it can partially block the on/off switch on your power point (take a look at the picture at the very start of the review to see just what we mean). To use it you just slide the antenna out, plug it into a power point, and switch the power point on. That’s it for the device it, the rest is done via the web front end.

When you first configure it you are walked through a series of steps, including connecting to your existing 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz network, whether you want to use the same name, and a few other options. Then you can go ahead and use it, it really is that simple and that quick to set up.

The web front end has a few other options, but for most people that will be all they need to do.

You can then place the RE450 somewhere around the middle between where you router is and where the area that you lose wifi signal. The RE450 will then boost and extend the signal. You can also connect an Ethernet cable into the RE450 and connect that to another device if that device can’t get wifi or you need a wired connection.

I found the RE450 worked exceptionally well and I had incredibly fast speeds throughout the house, even faster than areas where I had previously used either an extender or I had used powerline devices.

You can easily tell if you have a good signal with the RE450 because the circle on the front of the device will either be blue for a good signal or red for a poor one. This saves a little bit of time so you don’t need to connect another device to it and see what the connection is like.

Another feature that some people might find useful is that you can also turn off the LEDs once you have it all set up so that they don’t become annoying.

I also liked that the antenna were locked into place rather than each one having to be positioned.

Get ready to go back to Fallout 4 for exploring Far Harbor

Fallout 4: Far Harbor is scheduled to hit tomorrow, Bethesda has released a new video giving us a lot more details about the DLC and how it was developed.

The DLC will focus on a town in Maine, and involve a conflict between the townspeople, the Children of Atom and the Synths. The team said it went back to New England to try to recreate the feel of the original Fallout, but making the area a bit more rugged and “feral”. The town is destroyed, and the surviving townspeople are confined to the far edge of what’s left along the dock.

Several new weapons are being introduced, such as a fish hook, harpoon gun and a lever action hunting rifle, as well as the best armour in the game short of power armour called the Marine Combat Armour.

The add-on will be available for download on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment has today announced Batman: Return to Arkham. The new title bundles Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, two of the most critically acclaimed videogames on the last generation of gaming consoles.

Both are being remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One using Unreal Engine 4, a first for the award winning Batman: Arkham series. Originally developed by Rocksteady Studios and released in 2009, the game pushed the envelope for action, adventure and super hero games and exposed players to a unique, dark and atmospheric adventure taking them to the depths of Arkham Asylum.
