Following “LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW,” KADOKAWA GAMES has been working together with GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE INC. and executive director SUDA51 on development for this title.

And here is the trailer:

“KILLER IS DEAD” is set in a not-so-distant future similar to (but not the same as) the world we know now. The player takes control of an executioner named Mondo Zappa who wields a Japanese sword in his right hand and brandishes interchangeable weapons in his left artificial arm. His ultimate goal is to execute various heinous criminals scattered around the world and beyond.

Completely unique visuals and outstanding stylish action come together to deliver an unprecedented gaming experience in “KILLER IS DEAD.” This brand-new action title is being jointly developed by KADOKAWA GAMES and GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE, with SUDA51 lending his trademark sense of style at the helm. It will be available worldwide in summer 2013.

Gears of War: Judgment EXCLUSIVE interview with Jim Brown from Epic Games

Aftermath_1

I recently attended a special Gears of War: Judgment event with Microsoft and Epic Games, and while I was there I had the chance to talk with Jim Brown, who is the Lead Level Designer from Epic Games.

Set years before the events of the original “Gears of War” trilogy, “Judgment” centers on Kilo Squad, a troop of soldiers led by Damon Baird and Augustus “The Cole Train” Cole. They are joined by newcomers to the “Gears” series, Sofia Hendrick and Garron Paduk, as they attempt to save the besieged city of Halvo Bay from a terrifying new enemy.

We talk about the new Gears of War Judgment game. We talk about old characters and new, new modes, cosplay and we even have new gameplay footage to share. So over to Jim:

Gears of War: Judgment will launch worldwide on 19th March, 2013 on the Xbox 360.

And stay tuned for our preview of Gears of War: Judgment shortly.
