As from yesterday the 7th November  through Sunday 10th, November at 11:59 p.m. PST, the World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition into an Open Beta weekend, with a ton of cool stuff to go along with it.  After the Open Beta weekend ends, will no longer be taking registrations for the beta.  This means that if players don’t get in this weekend, they won’t be able to get in until release. The beta will still run after the Open Beta weekend, however, we won’t be accepting any further registrations for access.

During the Open Beta weekend, players will no longer need to sign up to receive a beta key or the like. All they’ll need to do is download the client from the Xbox Live Marketplace and get right into the game. Remember, beta registration WILL CLOSE, so if you or anyone else wants to get into the game, they’ll need to take advantage of the no registration process this weekend!

Now, for the good stuff – As a special thank you to our beta players, all players who register, download and play the game during the overall beta will receive a premium USA T14 tier III heavy tank at launch. Plus, on Saturday, November 9th, players who play five (5) battles between 5 p.m. PST and 8 p.m. PST will qualify to receive a premium USA Ram II tier V medium tank when the game comes out, just for helping World of Tanks with the beta. The Ram II tank will only be available to earn for this short window of time, so it’s in players’ best interest to play during the times outlined above. And, most excitingly, World of Tanks are going to have a full Double XP weekend from 2 a.m. PST on Saturday, November 9th to 2 a.m. Monday, November 11th.
