The HE75 and TH65 keyboards from Epomaker are their latest gaming devices. I’m looking at both, but this article focuses on the HE75 keyboard. The 75% form factor peripheral is the ideal tool if you need a portable and responsive device. Furthermore, if tri-mode connectivity is a must, it ticks that box as well. On top of this, it has a handy media knob if you love to adjust your settings with the touch of one button.
Available in 2 colourways, this stylish and vibrant accessory will suit many tastes. It has a clean design, south-facing RGB, and programmable macros. Additionally, it has an immense battery if you love to game wirelessly. This wasn’t a concern for me as I love a wired keyboard. But if you want a clean look while maximising the tri-mode versatility, the 8000 mAh battery is impressive.
What’s in the box of the HE75 keyboard?
- The packaging is attractive but relatively refined. It highlights key selling points, and the box can be recycled.
- The HE75 keyboard is available in black or white. These classic colours may not be as vibrant as you want, but the RGB makes up for it.
- A USB-C cable is used to charge and connect the keyboard.

Technical aspects.
This tri-mode device is the ideal choice if you work from home or you commute. No one likes the cheap keyboards that your boss provides. Accordingly, you can overcome that issue and retain a sense of style with the awesome HE75 keyboard. Changing connection modes was simple, and you have 3 Bluetooth profiles to play with. This makes it ideal if you work from your phone, laptop, tablet, or desktop.
If you’re a gamer, polling rates will be essential. I used this with the USB cable and enjoyed up to 8000 Hz polling. Had I used the USB transmitter, I’d enjoy the same performance. Sadly, things go a little south when you use Bluetooth. 125 Hz polling is offered via BT functionality. This isn’t an issue if you are performing office tasks, but it may interfere if you are competing in fast-paced games.
I’ve mentioned the impressive battery, and I enjoyed around 22 hours of full RGB action from one charge. This may not seem like a lot, but the fully customisable RGB can light up a room. Therefore, it’s more impressive than many of its peers. If you turn it down or off altogether, you’ll extend the battery life to around 2 weeks.
The smaller form factor device has full use profiling thanks to the built-in macros. This wasn’t something that concerned me too much, but I appreciated the chance to customise them, adjust my settings, and other key elements via the free-to-download app.
Build quality.
Epomaker uses the best, longest-lasting plastic cases for each of its keyboards. Although this isn’t as premium as a metal case, it is much lighter. Consequently, it makes it much more suitable if you are a commuter. The hard-wearing case resists knocks, scratches, and those awful greasy marks. Subsequently, your keyboard will look fantastic for much longer.
This durable design is extended to the long-lasting keycaps. The double-shot PBT material retains its strong colours and fonts for longer. This is great if you spend hours on your pc and you don’t want those horrible shiny wear marks.
The provided switches were exceptionally good. They are responsive, and I love the Hall Effect functionality. The accuracy is second to none, and the actuation distance can be adjusted for the perfect gaming performance. If you’ve never tried HE switches, you are in for a treat. Not only are they accurate, but every keystroke is brilliantly comfortable. Finally, if you are obsessed with certain keycaps or switches, you can hot-swap them with no technical know-how. This makes the HE75 keyboard a perfect option for hardcore gamers with no technical ability.
If a creamy soundscape is a must, you’ll adore the exceptional audio profile. 5 layers of acoustic dampening material make every keystroke a dream to hear. Although you hear a familiar mechanical sound, it isn’t harsh or too loud. Instead, it blends dated, familiar sounds with an upmarket, premium experience.
Is the HE75 keyboard worth it?
A smaller form factor keyboard may not appeal to everyone. However, if you have a smaller workspace and you want to maximise your performance, this could be the keyboard of your dreams. It is comfortable, attractive, and it offers a massive battery life. Finally, it is versatile and built to last. Accordingly, it is great, and I recommend buying it here!
