The Fallout Lucky 38 glasses from GUNNAR are another amazing collaboration that will appeal to lovers of the franchise and those who love a steampunk aesthetic. This interesting eyewear has some incredible collector’s items while offering the health benefits we’ve come to expect from this exceptional company.

Alongside this, they are the perfect choice regardless of your job or hobby. If you spend hours in front of a screen, you’ll want to invest in a pair of GUNNAR glasses. The patented technology helps to reduce glare, headaches, itchy eyes, and many other common complaints. Furthermore, they have so many design choices that there is something for everyone.

This pair of glasses joins a growing collection of Fallout-associated eyewear. They each have a unique design that creates a standout persona for anyone who invests. With interesting side shields, you’re guaranteed to be a conversation starter.

What’s in the box of the Fallout Lucky 38 glasses?

  • The packaging is refined, recyclable, and durable.
  • The Fallout Lucky 38 glasses have a delightful steampunk edge. I was sent the non-prescription version, but -5 – +5 lenses can be ordered at checkout.
  • A microfibre cloth and case help to keep the glasses clean and safe.
  • A leather hard case was my go-to storage option.

Technical aspects.

The Fallout Lucky 38 glasses offer several lens types as standard. If you require a prescription, GUNNAR can sort this for you for an additional fee. However, if you have 20-20 vision, you can select either the yellow-tinted GUNNAR focus, neutral focus amber sunshift, or the sunglass lens. Each option offers 100% UV protection and from 65% blue light protection. I was sent the yellow-tinted lens, and this offers 65% blue light protection.

This subtle colour helps reduce the sharp effects of contrasting colours or the horrible glare from your PC/laptop monitor. Furthermore, unless you need 100% accurate colours, it makes working or gaming a softer experience. Any reduction in blue light is a winner. However, 65% blocking alongside the GUNNAR patented lens technology helps to improve your eye health.

If you’ve ever suffered from dry and itchy lenses, you’ll know how uncomfortable and distracting it can be. Headaches, tension pains, and gritty blinking are all unfortunate side effects. Thankfully, these glasses help to reduce those issues. The outcome is a person who is more productive, healthier, and happier when sitting in front of their screen. Additionally, if you game to win, you’ll enjoy better results as your accuracy and reaction time improve.

Build quality.

Any gaming accessory must be hard-wearing. Sadly, high-pressure situations bring out the worst in everyone, and this causes the odd incident. Luckily, GUNNAR has got the memo as their products are built to last. The Fallout Lucky 38 glasses are part of the Epic range, and this offers some impressive tech: flexible hinges, retro round frames, and a brushed metal aesthetic add to the steampunk style.

The leather side shields are a unique but eye-catching extra that appealed to my showy side. I know this element won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but thankfully, they can be removed if you don’t like them.

As with every other GUNNAR product, this has subtle Easter eggs to make you smile. The slim arms have a theme-specific image to tie in with the Fallout design. Moreover, each of the accessories is designed to make hardcore fans weak at the knees. The microfibre cloth and case are vibrant and loaded with exceptional eye-catching images. However, it is the leather hard case that makes this an attractive prospect. The logo, design, and simplicity make this exceptionally desirable. It has a rugged finish that matches the survival and apocalyptic nature of the game and TV series.

Are the Fallout Lucky 38 glasses worth it?

I’m a sucker for every GUNNAR product. Although I find some of the styles to be a bit wacky, I know that every human is unique, and someone will love them. The Fallout Lucky 38 glasses are unusual, but the retro style, lush, brushed metal frame, and slim professional look will attract a large audience. If you also consider the massive gaming and TV franchise, this makes these glasses almost irresistible.

The accessories are fantastic, and there is a 12-month warranty. Additionally, the health benefits are exceptional, and your productivity will improve, and your headaches and dry eyes will decrease. Accordingly, they are amazing, and I recommend buying a pair here!
