The GTA Casino was a big hit when it was first introduced in 2019, offering a fully customizable penthouse apartment as well as gaming opportunities. The Diamond Casino & Resort update also added several missions that were specific to the casino. They can come with big rewards, can now be completed solo, and are considered some of the most enjoyable in the game.
Similarly, online platforms like Betblast casino provide players with a diverse range of gaming options, bringing the excitement of high-stakes gambling to a digital audience.
Casino Gambling Restrictions
The Diamond Casino offers gaming opportunities for a lot of GTA Online players, but not all. Rockstar has disabled gambling for players who live in countries with strict anti-gambling laws. Some players get around this ban by using a VPN and choosing a server in a country with no restrictions.
While this works in The Diamond Casino, using a VPN won’t help in real online casinos if your access is restricted by your participation in the Gamstop service. However, Techopedia’s experts say there are a lot of casinos that operate outside this service. According to tech writer Kane Pepi, using cryptocurrency and joining one of these casinos enables restricted players to circumvent these restrictions.
The GTA Casino
While you won’t win real money at The Diamond Casino, you can win a ton of in-game money, as long as gambling is enabled in your area. The casino was introduced in 2019 as part of The Diamond Casino & Resort update and it offers games like poker, blackjack, roulette, and slot machines for lucky players. It also has a host of online missions for players to participate in.
Start Casino Missions
To start casino missions, players need to first obtain a VIP membership for the casino and purchase a Master Penthouse. As such, it costs at least $1.5 million to start playing the missions. Once you’ve met these requirements, you will need to head to the staff-only area to choose which of the missions you want to participate in.
Rewards
Rewards range from $50,000 to $100,000, although the exact amount you earn depends on various factors including the order you complete them in. Below, we highlight the available missions and have included the rewards if you complete them in the order set out. Completing missions for a second or subsequent time will see the rewards drop.
As you can see, the individual mission rewards aren’t enough to reimburse you for the cost of the Penthouse, but you do get to keep your swanky new apartment even when you’ve finished all six missions. And, if you finish the missions in the right order, you get an additional half a million dollars and there is a handful of additional bonuses that can take the prizes to more than a million dollars and you get an armored vehicle to keep. These additional bonuses are:
- $50,000 if you don’t lose a life during the missions
- $100,000 if you play as a crew member
- $100,000 and the Paragon R vehicle if you are the crew leader during all missions
- $500,000 for completing the missions in the correct order, as set out below
When the missions were first launched, they had to be completed in parties of two to four players. Since the Los Santos Drug Wars update, they can be played solo, although this will make the missions a much more challenging affair.
The Missions
To get all the rewards on offer, players will have to play through the missions at least twice. This enables them to play as a crew member and the crew leader. To get the biggest possible reward, the missions should be completed in the following order.
Loose Cheng
Loose Cheng is the first mission you should tackle and rewards $50,000 for its successful completion. In this mission, you are tasked with rescuing Tao Cheng from a derelict motel.
Housekeeping
Housekeeping rewards you with $50,000 and is the next mission to take in order. Here, you need to help the casino’s head of security deal with troublemakers on the casino floor.
Strong Arm Tactics
The third mission is Strong Arm Tactics, which rewards players with $50,000 and sees The Diamond Casino management team enter into possible negotiations with the Duggan Investment Trust over a possible buyout. It is definitely an attempt at a hostile takeover.
Play To Win
Another $50,000 is rewarded for Play To Win, the fourth mission in the series. In this mission, you seek revenge on the Duggan family by taking out their profitable oil ventures.
Bad Beat
Bad Beat is the penultimate mission to take, and offers a $50,000 reward. In this mission, players take on Thornton Avery’s uncle, Avery. Avery’s mercenaries rappel onto the roof just as Thornton issues a warning in a bid to make peace.
Cashing Out
Cashing Out is the final mission in the series. It rewards $100,000 for successful completion and, in it, players finally confront and take on Avery Duggan. The fight takes place at Avery’s ranch where players will be met by a lot more of Avery’s mercenaries.
