The Sonic Peel Out travel case is a fantastic accessory for your Nintendo Switch. Designed with every Switch model in mind, this hardened case is the perfect tool to keep it safe. Moreover, it has some incredible built-in functions that increase its versatility and functionality.

This colourful Sonic-themed case is ideal for fans of this popular character. Furthermore, its hardened shell ensures that your console is protected even if you are clumsy. Accordingly, this is the ideal choice if you have younger gamers who like to game when they are out and about.

Alongside this, this accessory is officially licensed by Nintendo. Accordingly, you know that the product will meet the highest standards. However, if anything goes wrong, PowerA offers a 2-year limited warranty for peace of mind.

What’s in the box of the Sonic Peel Out travel case?

  • The simple packaging is informative and striking. Adorned with key selling points and pleasant pictures, it catches your eye. On top of this, the cardboard sleeve can be recycled.
  • The Sonic Peel Out travel case is simple but alluring. I loved the vivid colours, the Sonic the Hedgehog imagery, and the robust material. Moreover, it can store everything you need when gaming on the move.

Technical aspects.

I was surprised by the versatility of the Sonic Peel Out travel case. Not only does this excellent accessory protect your Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, or OLED Switch, but it has a built-in stand as well. This may seem like a minor feature, but I used it more than expected. Furthermore, it can support other devices such as a tablet or your mobile phone if you wish to watch a film or a TV series whilst commuting.

I was particularly impressed with the simplicity of the design. The excellent cartridge holder can be strapped in place to counterbalance any suitable device. As such, you no longer need to find books, cups, or other items to support your machine. Consequently, it makes long journeys or your commute to work a bit easier.

Build quality.

Travel cases have to be hard-wearing and built to last. Moreover, they should resist roughhousing without impacting their contents. Fortunately, the Sonic Peel Out travel case does just that. Thanks to its hardened case, you are assured that the contents are well protected. Additionally, the rubberised handle and the strong 2-way zipper pull will survive the clumsiest of users.

On top of this, each section of the case is designed to store particular items. The front area is a meshed zipped section that can store cables and small wired/wireless headphones. The meshed finish was fantastic as it prevents your accessories from touching or damaging your Switch. The other compartment comprises a cartridge holder and the area for your console. A removable black sleeve ensures compatibility with the Switch-Lite model.

The internal layers are finished with a soft “Sonic Blue” finish. Additionally, there are some pleasant Sonic images and the Sonic logo to look at. This was a nice touch as it makes the inside as interesting to look at as the rest of the case. What’s more, the soft material prevents your console from unnecessary damage.

Is the Sonic Peel Out travel case worth it?

Using your console on the move can be a daunting experience. The fear of damaging it in transit is a genuine concern. Thankfully, though, the Sonic Peel Out travel case alleviates this problem. Thanks to its hardened case and excellent internal compartments, you are assured that your machine is protected. Additionally, the official Nintendo certification ensures peace of mind and the highest standards. Accordingly, I loved this case and I recommend that you buy it here!
