This is always a difficult one when there is a split release for a new console unlike with Xbox who launched both the Series X and S next generation globally on the same day. But today in the US and some regions, the PlayStation 5 console has finally launched with a launch line up set to kick off in style!

The launch line-up includes the following exclusive titles starting with first full video game to have Miles Morales take the mantle of Spider-Man!

From PlayStation Studios and Bluepoint Games comes a remake of the PlayStation classic, Demon’s Souls. Entirely rebuilt from the ground up and masterfully enhanced, this remake introduces the horrors of a fog-laden, dark fantasy land to a whole new generation of gamers. Those who’ve faced its trials and tribulations before, can once again challenge the darkness in stunning visual quality and incredible performance.

Embark on a adventure with your eagle to a mystical island and dispel a curse of darkness that grips the world in The Pathless, available now for PS5 and PS4.

Aperion is on the precipice of ruin. You are the last of the Valorian knights. Godlike warriors able to equip Valorplates, legendary armor sets that transform wielders into unstoppable masters of melee combat. Tear through foes as you climb through the elemental realms and challenge the mad god, Macros who awaits you at the top. Ascend in Godfall, the first-of-its-kind, looter-slasher, melee action-RPG.

The PS5 console unleashes new gaming possibilities that you never anticipated. Experience lightning fast loading with an ultra-high speed SSD, deeper immersion with support for haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and 3D Audio, and an all-new generation of incredible PlayStation games. Lightning Speed: Harness the power of a custom CPU, GPU, and SSD with Integrated I/O that rewrite the rules of what a PlayStation console can do.

Sadly due to the COVID situation, stock of the PlayStation 5 is very low, with the PS5 launch in the UK on the 19th of November, there have been no new stock allocation to retailers of the console since the complete mess of a pre-order day. Just like with the Xbox Series X console, demand is absolutely overwhelming supply so many fans will miss out on the launch of this new generation of PlayStation 5.

But for those able to get one in the first wave of launches in the world today or the rest in a week’s time on the 19th November, the next generation of console gaming is finally here!
