Libratone announced that the AirPlay2 update is now available on its ZIPP, enabling Libratone owners to easily stream music or podcasts from Apple devices and group them together to play music anywhere in the home, all in-sync.

With AirPlay 2, users can control what’s playing on the ZIPP from an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and HomePod, or by simply asking Siri. With 10 hours of battery time, the ZIPP range offers listeners the flexibility of a portable, multi-speaker system that can be enjoyed anywhere in and around the home, making it a perfect companion to HomePod.

ZIPP owners can update to AirPlay 2 by downloading the Libratone app from the App Store and following the instructions to update the firmware. The free software update allows compatibility across the entire Libratone ZIPP home speaker range. Libratone redefines wireless speakers by combining convenience with rich sound and multi-room capabilities of traditional WiFi speakers, wrapped into a modern design.

The ZIPP range is available to purchase from selected retailers including Apple stores across Europe and Amazon.
