Today Huawei in Berlin for IFA 2016 has introduced two completely new devices, the Nova and Nova Plus.
The Huawei Nova and Nova Plus is the newest Huawei’s devices, at this years IFA 2016. The 5-inch Huawei Nova looks like a shrunken-down Nexus 6P, while the 5.5-inch Nova Plus takes its cues from the Mate line up.
The Huawei Nova and Nova Plus are both powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor, they feature 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage space. The Nova has a 12-megapixel camera paired with 5-inch display and a 3020mAh battery, whereas the Nova plus camera clocks in at 16-megapixels with OIS, has a 5.5-inch
With the Huawei Nova it featuring a 12MP sensor with phase-detection autofocus with a 1.25 micron pixels, while the Huawei Nova Plus gets a little upgrade with a 16MP and optical image stabilization. Both the Nova and Nova Plus phones have 8MP front cameras, with Huawei’s beautification modes baked into the camera app.
Both new phones will have USB Type-C, , so the Nova and Nova Plus feature the new connectivity standard. Fingerprint sensors are located on the back of the phones.
The Nova and Nova Plus runs on the EMUI 4.1, based on Marshmallow, One feature the company showed off was Knuckle Sense, which lets you input gestures with your finger knuckles the screen can tell the difference between fingertips and knuckles by measuring the electric conductivity of the skin.
The price of the Huawei Nova is €399 fro 3GB/32GB and the Nova Plus will be €429 for 3GB/32GB.
