2K has today confirmed WWE Superstars John Cena and Sasha Banks, as well as WWE Hall of Famer Ultimate Warrior, as the next three roster members in WWE 2K17, the forthcoming release in the flagship WWE video game franchise.
Throughout this year E3 2016, 2K partnered with WWE portrait artist Rob Schamberger to reveal the three roster additions at the Company’s South Hall booth by painting them on a sizable canvas in a live setting. E3 attendees checked in throughout the show, as well as on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, to see if their favourite WWE Superstars and Legends officially joined what’s expected to be a substantial WWE 2K17 playable roster.
Developed collaboratively by Yuke’s and Visual Concepts, a 2K studio, WWE 2K17 is not yet rated by PEGI. WWE 2K17 is currently scheduled for worldwide release on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 in October 2016.
Consumers who pre-order WWE 2K17 at any participating retailer will receive two playable characters of legendary WCW and WWE star Bill Goldberg, well as playable WCW Monday Nitro and Halloween Havoc arenas, at no extra cost on launch day.
