Final Thoughts

Setting up the Pure Air 300 was fairly simply – just unpack it, remove all the packaging and fit the air filter, then just plug in it and away you go.

When you switch it on, it detects the air quality and so if it remains set on auto it will work a lot harder to do it’s job. You can tell the quality of the air by the colour on the display – green is good!

There are multiple settings on the unit – including setting how long you want it to run for, if you want it in auto, or a power setting of low, medium or high, and even a night mode which is very useful if you want it running at night but you don’t want to be kept up by the noise or the lights on the front!

There is also an option to have the ioniser on or off, by default it’s on.

There is also a light that shows if the filter needs changing so you don’t need to keep checking the filter itself.

Theres a small remote control that comes with it as well if you don’t want to get out of your chair to adjust it, or to power it on or off.

When I first used the Pure Air 300 I noticed an almost immediate improvement in the air in the room I was using it in. And as someone who suffers from hayfeaver it was a very welcome relief.

When the Pure Air 300 is running, unless you have it running on medium or high it is fairly quiet. When it’s running on high it can be quite noisy though so you might want to position it away from where you might be sitting.

There are handles on the side of the Pure Air 300 which make it really easy to move it from room to room. I found that I ran it in almost every room in my house at some point and as I mentioned before I really noticed a difference in the air quality.

If you need an excellent purifier or you suffer from allergies then I highly recommend checking out the Vax Pure Air 300 Air Purifier.

The Vax Pure Air 300 Air Purifier retails for £279.99 but as usual have a look around for a good deal – Vax themselves currently have it on offer for £249.99.
