The first Insomnia Scotland has opened it’s doors

Insomnia has opened it’s doors for the first Insomnia Scotland this Friday 29th April until Monday  2nd May.

Insomnia Scotland consists of many aspects from Insomnia Gaming Festival, such as the Bring Your Own Computers (BYOC) LAN Hall, Special Guests from the Yogscast, with Trott (Hat films), Ross (Hat films) and Turps participating in stage shows, panel talks, Q&A sessions. As well as other YouTube and streaming stars attending such as LTZonda, Razzbowski, Suzy Lu, The Prenti, Silentc0re, Leah Loves Chief, Waglington, O Ryan (8BG), Ryan (8BG) and Nilesy.

Games available to play at the EICC this weekend include a world-exclusive first play of the newly announced TerraTech racing/challenge mode, Gaunlet. Prizes are to be won through playing Pokkén Tournament, which combines the best elements of a traditional fighting game with an authentic Pokémon experience. Additionally, BBC Build it Scotland will be on hand to assist budding architects through the use of Minecraft, as well as 3D design software such as TinkerCad or Sketchup.

Insomnia Scotland is set to feature a great selection of activities and zones, free-to-enter tournaments, Retro and Cosplay zones, a Tabletop Gaming Area, plus lots of games and goodies. Also exhibiting at the festival will be GAME, Overclockers UK, Console Chameleon, Bullet With Your Name On, plus many, many more.

Tickets for Insomnia Scotland can be purchased on the official website, as well as purchasing Saturday and Sunday tickets on the door.
