“From the first days of our initial US launch, interest from the UK has been incredibly strong,” said Co-founder and CEO Adam Sager, “And while CCTV is a common approach to security in the UK, the video quality in most products is sub-par. We’re excited to finally give renters and homeowners in this market a legitimate all-in-one security solution.”

Since launching in the United States and Canada earlier this year, Canary customers have reported catching a range of serious incidents, including burglaries, gas leaks, employee theft, caregiver abuse, and even arson.

“A true home security solution needs to do three things,” says reformed criminal and star of BBC’s Beat the Burglar, Michael Fraser. “It should have monitoring tools to show what’s happening when something goes wrong, a siren or emergency response options to take action during an incident, and the ability to record and save evidence that can help the authorities do their job. Canary has all of these components and more, and it’s the most comprehensive solution on the market today.”
