Some new details of the Star Wars: Battlefront beta have been revealed today, with EA saying that it will be completely open and contain both offline and online modes including co-op and split-screen co-op.
Multiplayer modes included are Drop Zone on Sullust and Walker Assault on Hoth, while the missions for single-player with AI, online and split-screen co-op, include Survival mode on Tatooine.
“The final date will be announced as soon as we have the final details locked in, said the game’s community manager Mathew Everett.
“The beta will consist of both our offline and online modes including co-op and split-screen co-op, and it will take place on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and via Origin for PC, so we have you covered regardless of your next generation platform of choice.”
The beta will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early October and will be open to everyone.
