Using the Headphones

Once the headphones are charged you need to connect them via Bluetooth to whatever device you want to use them with. This is very easy – all you need to do is power the on and go to the device and look for Jam Transit Touch Headphones and pair them.

All of the controls are handled on the right headphone – you can adjust the volume up or down by touching the side and rotating your finger. You can pause and play by tapping it, you can move tracks by swiping.

Final Thoughts

The first thing I noticed when I took the headset out of the box was that is folded up relatively small, and I was happy to see that there was also a cloth bag included to keep it safe and protected.

Out of the box the headset is already charged so you can use it straight away. When you do need to charge it though a full charge takes around 3 hours and is charged via USB. You can get around 12 hours of constant use out of that 3 hour charge so you shouldn’t run out of battery during the course of normal use. If you do though there is a Aux-in cable supplied that can be used to connect the headset directly to whichever device you want to use so that you can continue to listen to them until such time as you can recharge the battery.

The headset itself is very comfortable – I used it for a number of hours without needing to take it off for a break. It is also adjustable for that perfect fit.

As I mentioned earlier, the controls are all via touch, with the exception of the on / off button. This means that you won’t accidentally knock them. They are easy to control with a single finger, although it does take a little getting used to just how much pressure you need to use (not a lot) to action whichever control you want.

The sound quality is excellent, even with the quietest of sources I could still hear everything perfectly.

You can also use the headset for hands-free calling if you need to as well.

The JAM Transit Touch Wireless Headphones are available now in either Black or Gun Metal Grey, priced £79.99.
