A Closer Look
Final Thoughts
The first thing that you notice when you take it out of the box is that the My Passport X looks a lot like the Xbox One – it has the same texture as the Xbox One and it looks great sitting next to or on the Xbox One.
Setting up the My Passport X was simply a case of plugging it in to a spare USB on the Xbox One and following the instructions. You can then move some of your existing content onto the drive – and that’s it!
If you want to use it on an Xbox 360, you need to connect it and then format it in the System Settings, Storage Devices section.
The drive has 2TB of storage on it – WD say that’s about 50 games over around 36 GB each on an Xbox One and 250 games of around 7 GB each – so that’s a good addition to your existing storage pool.
There’s not really a lot else to add to be honest, the My Passport X works straight out of the box, and you can be using it in minutes, and it blends right in with your Xbox One, so what’s not to love. Add one today!
The WD My Passport X retails for £97.99, but as usual look for the best deal.
