EGX today announced five new playable games and three developer sessions coming to this month’s EGX from Warner Bros.
First of is Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, based on the Lord of the Rings franchise, is already generating buzz thanks to its potent mix of visceral combat and stunning visuals, while Dying Light is taking the open-world zombie action game in exciting new directions.
Next up is Mortal Kombat X shakes up the combat system at the heart of this fighting series, famed for its gruesome fatalities, while LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham builds on the popularity of previous instalments with over 150 characters from the DC Universe, and Gauntlet is a modernised reboot of the classic 80s dungeon-crawler.
Gamers who want to get even closer to these titles will also be able to check out exclusive developer sessions presentations on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th. Developer Monolith will be on stage at 2pm on the Saturday to present Shadow of Mordor in more depth and take questions from the audience, followed by Techland with Dying Light on Sunday at 12pm and TT Games with LEGO Batman 3 later that afternoon at 2pm.
