The Xbox One June update has started rolling out to customers, The update is available alongside a trailer outlining its many new features.

The June update adds external storage support, real names, automatic sign-ins, and OneGuide features for set-top boxes plugged into the console.

The device now supports up to two external USB 3.0 hard drives sized 256GB or larger, enabling users to move games and DLC to other consoles easily.

OneGuide and Universal Remote control has been added to SmartGlass, allowing users to set DVR features such as switching channels, setting new recordings and more via the app.

It is also the update that provides access to entertainment apps such as Netflix without a Gold subscription.

Other Gold benefits include free Xbox One games starting with Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: Curse of the Brotherhood, as well as monthly discounts.
