Once the video plays, click the right arrow button to proceed. If it played back OK, click the right arrow to proceed. If it did not, try the URL that LaCie provides to troubleshoot. It worked for me, so I clicked the right arrow and continued.
Next up is connecting the Fuel to the internet. This way, you get the latest firmware updates for the Fuel and you can stay connected to the internet with your mobile device while using the Fuel. This is important as the Fuel can act as a firewall, and is useful when connecting to open Wi-Fi networks like those found in hotels. Click the right arrow to continue.
Once the Fuel tries to connect to the internet, it will tell you whether or not it succeeded. If it failed, try the URL listed on the screen. It worked just fine for me.
Now that we are done, we click on Done. I am connected to the Fuel and the iPad still has internet access. Whoo-hoo! Here is what the main page looks like.

Clicking on an icon for the files starts the stock video player. I found that MP4 files with AAC audio encoding and H.264 video encoding played back just fine; MKV and Media Center files did not play back.
