Ubisoft just launched “Skin a Car”, a unique EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Asia) community contest linked to its upcoming revolutionary online action-driving game The Crew. Fans are invited to demonstrate their car customization skills on a Mini Cooper S with a chance to actually see their creation featured in The Crew and to win goodies and limited editions of the game.

Participants are invited to register on The Crew’s website http://thecrewgame.com/skinacar to create their own design for the Mini Cooper S. From colours and brushes to game stickers and even personal stickers (uploaded by the participant), the customization module specifically developed for the contest showcases the numerous car customization options to be available in The Crew. These designs are then shared on The Crew’s Facebook page and submitted to a vote by the fans. Top winning designs will be featured in The Crew when the game releases, early 2014.

The Crew propels gamers on a reckless ride through a massive open world version of the United States of America, brimming with exciting challenges and diverse terrain – from city to suburb, county to county, state to state, coast to summit. The Crew redefines the level of freedom players experience in a driving
game by offering a playground of unprecedented scope in which any driving fantasy can be realized: street, dirt, cross-country, circuit….

To bring that vision to life, The Crew leverages the capabilities of new hardware to connect players online like never before. The Crew’s persistent
online world is populated by other real human players, featuring any other car as a potential rival or ally, and naturally fostering both competition and
cooperation among players. This living world provides a tailored experience to a new generation of gamers, as each player is given the choice to play by oneself, or to team up on-the-go with friends to accomplish collective challenges.

The Crew is developed for Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 and PC.
