Today Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Ace 3 smartphone. The Android device will serve as a budget-friendly alternative to the South Korean firm’s high-end handsets, such as the Galaxy S4.
Powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor and 1GB of RAM, the Galaxy Ace 3 features a 4-inch 480×800 display as well as a 5-megapixel camera.
The phone runs Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and comes with a raft of Samsung’s exclusive software pre-installed, including S Translator, S Travel, Smart Stay and S Voice.
The device will replace the existing Galaxy Ace 2, offering a speedier processor and RAM upgrade but retaining the same camera capabilities.
Samsung is yet to announce pricing and a release date for the Galaxy Ace 3, but it is expected to retail at around £200.
