Call of Duty: Ghosts will be demonstrated at the next-generation Xbox event in May.
The next entry in the Call of Duty franchise, which was announced yesterday (1st May) alongside a trailer, will be shown live at the new Xbox unveiling on 21st May.
The announcement was made on the game’s brand new Facebook page, which has received more than 20,000 likes in less than one day.
Activision teased the reveal with a Call of Duty: Ghosts fan mosaic on the game’s official website and a number of suggestive tweets.
“RT if you’re ready to see the next generation of Call of Duty,” reads one of the tweets.
The game’s box artwork was recently leaked by Tesco, as well as information about its next-generation game engine and release date.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will reportedly take place in the future, but utilise current technology and weapons in line with a “major plot event”.
The single-player campaign is said to include more destructible environments, with multiplayer maps featuring interactive areas and traps.
