Performance Tests
Windows 8’s Windows Experience Index gave the S7 a 5.4.
The 5.4 was based on the Graphics test, but take a look at the result for the Primary Hard Disk, it’s an 8.2!
PassMark (PerformanceTest 7.0)
The overall rating was a very good 1459.6.
The individual marks are shown below:
CPU-Z
CrystalDiskMark
As you can see the disk benchmarks were excellent.
PowerMark
The battery tests didn’t perform as well as the other tests, as you can see using the default settings and no configuration tweaks only gave 2 hours and 26 minutes.
Obviously you can get a lot better out of the S7 depending on factors such as screen brightness, what is and isn’t enabled and what you are actually doing.

Can you provide any more evidence for the “green supply chain” claim?
I can’t, but you could contact Acer and ask them
Sure, they have a nice little piece here: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/csr-supply-chain-transparency.
Just curious if you had something specific to this model that was different or additional, but apparently not.
No, sorry, only what’s there.
