Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Setup
The next part is where you create a Linksys Smart Wi-Fi account to enable you to manage the router over the internet and to use some of the apps that Linksys has rolled out. If you wish to manage the router in the old manner, click on No Thanks and opt out. You can always set this up later, and this is a major change as previous Linksys routers that shipped required this account. I set up an account, so I clicked Continue.
I entered the following information and set up my account.
Check your email and confirm the account.
Account setup is now completed! Log in.
You need to associate your router. Enter the password for the router and click OK.
