Electronic Arts is expected to announce an exclusivity partnership with Microsoft for the new Xbox, it has been reported. EA to the stage during the unveiling of the new Xbox and outline its plans for the machine, according to CVG.
While the terms of the partnership are unknown, the publisher is expected to announce staggered release dates and exclusive DLC for titles such as Battlefield 4.
As Electronic Arts was absent from the PS4 unveiling event last week, but has since confirmed its support the new console.
“At the end of the day we are very excited about Sony’s platform. We feel there’s a huge opportunity there,” EA CFO Blake Jorgensen recently explained.
