Buffalo Technology announced a refresh of their NAS product line at CES2013.  The current LinkStation Pro line will be replaced with a range of new models, the LinkStation 400 series.  Here are some product details on the new LinkStation 400 line, courtesy of Buffalo:

The new 400 series units get a refreshed processor, and on the 421E, USB 3.0 support as well.  Performance is expected to jump from around 60MB/s write speeds to 80+ MB/s, a jump of 33%.  While I was visiting their booth, I saw multiple demonstrations that yielded these higher performance levels.

410

The new 410 will be aimed at customers seeking the fastest single-drive solution on the market, and will be priced at 2 TB – $229, 3 TB – $269, 4 TB – $399.
